TML Howdens Lamona Garda | Professional | Spa Filter Spout Seal O Ring Repair Kit 1425R

My tap is a Lamona Garda from Howdens and had started leaking water from the base of the swivel spout, so bought this kit.This is a generic replacement kit so you might not need all the components. In my case, I used an O-ring, a collar and a grub screw. It was easy to replace, you don’t need to isolate the mains water, just remember to turn off the taps! You should also use plumbers silicone grease for lubrication.Good kit, lengthens the life of my taps.

I have had to replace the washers many times as the Lemona tap is not great and the universal kit washers I had do not last (probably due to them being slightly the wrong sizes even if they look identical). This kit is way way better and gave no leaks, and was really easy to use. If I had any complaints it would be price and I would prefer a lower price with no Allen keys, replacement screw or plastic collars as it is always just the rubber washers that go. If you have to add bits to the kit to attempt to justify a slightly higher price, then a small amount of silicon grease would be better.

Cheaper than the same thing from Howdens. However, it is still expensive for what it is, but did the job.

Arrived the day after ordering, kit worked well and has stopped annoying leak from base of the tap.

I purchased a set for my specific tap and this is not designed for my tap, it’s a generic fitting kit that actually doesn’t fit properly and I had to reuse some of the old parts. The o rings are too big and now the tap is stiff and hard to move. Avoid this item it’s not worth the money
