Get your sizing right and you will get reliever time
I’ve suffered with plantar fasciitis on and off for a few years now. It’s always worse in the winter so I normally use shoe inserts which I have found very effective however I can’t fit the shoe liners into my dog walking boots so I needed an alternate. I decided to give these a try and I’m pleased with the results so far. You do get a pair but I’m only wearing one at the moment. As they fit both feet it’s good for having a spare when you want to wash it. I know from past experience with support socks that the sizing is exceptionally important. I believe you can’t just go on the shoe size. You have to also think about how large your ankles are. It’s no good having a tight support on your foot if that results in the sock basically stopping the blood flow through your ankle. So my ankles are not those of a super model and I ordered the L/XL. I’m a size 7 foot and I’ve got wide fitting feet (E) The size was just about right. Any tighter and I wouldn’t have been able to wear them. Any looser and they wouldn’t have helped. I do like the softer wide band round the ankle as it’s definitely more comfortable. I don’t wear them all day but I can keep them on for several hours. I tend to use them when I know I’m going to be on my feet and take them off when I’m sat relaxing. Now these socks are not an instant fix. Don’t put them on and except the pain to be gone. It takes a while ( usually within a couple of weeks) before you start feeling the benefits. In conjunction with wearing these you should also do exercises first thing in the morning which you can find online. I’ve found after wearing them each day for a week the pain is definitely reduced. They are really good value for money just to get rid of the pain. I’m optimistic that by Xmas I will be feeling a lot more comfortable. They wash really well too. I tend to do them by hand and don’t iron them. So I would recommend these, just err on the side of caution with your sizing.

Works Well
After suffering for many years with Plantar Fasciitis it was great to hear of a product that actually went some way to getting rid of the pain. I've been wearing one on my left foot almost constantly since buying them (about a month now), only taking it off to shower. I must say for the most part it works very well. It hasn't completely gotten rid of the pain but it certainly has proved itself to be quite effective, especially when getting out of bed in the morning which as most fellow sufferers will confirm, is the time when the pain can often be at its worst. At first it feels too tight and uncomfortable but with perseverence I didn't even notice I had it on. Putting them on takes a little practice but once you get it right it should help no end with easing the pain. As it points out in the instructions, you do have to be patient and keep wearing them for a week or two before you start to feel the benefit. So, all in all, they're not 100 per cent effective but they work better than anything else I've tried.........so far!

Blessed relief!!
Both my wife and I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis - my wife much worse than me and has done for some years. She has struggled to find a solution, until now. We tried massage, various types of footwear, and then these appeared on Amazon.Having read the reviews, we went for the larger size (my wife is a lady's size 7) and they are definitely snug but comfortable. I've tried them too, and they do fit my size 9's. Reassuringly the support seems to be evenly spread by the design of the "sock" and there are no tight bits which you get with some conventional socks. It is important to follow the instructions so that you get them in the right position. We're really impressed by the customer service of the seller who sent a helpful information sheet and said to get in touch if any problems. The only time my wife complained of discomfort we realised she'd put them on upside down!Best of all, they really do work :-) For the first time in some years my wife has a go-to method of relieving her feet, and she has the confidence to wear them in bed too. They can be worn underneath normal socks, wash really well, and we're going to get a spare set now. We just don't want to be without them.If you have plantar fasciitis then buy these with confidence, give them a couple of days, and if you don't notice a difference then the manufacturer is readily accessible to help resolve things.

Great product
I wanted to try the product before writing a review and I am pleased to say that the product has really helped with my heel pain. The socks are very durable and so far have maintained their tightness after several washes and are as good as new. Excellent product thank you.JULY 2017Unfortunately the products heel has now separated in part from the rest of the sock (upper part) this occurred whilst putting the sock on as usual. I do not know what the life expectancy of this sock is but thought it would be around 6 months not 3 months. A bit disappointing so review changed to 4 stars from 5 as was still a good product when in tact

Excellent product that really works, worth every penny. Personal after sales service
I purchased the plantar fasciitis sock after straining the ligaments in my foot, the sock gave just enough support and helped reduced the swelling and burning Sensation in the arch. I could feel the compression properties of the sock work almost immediately relieving heel pain - this helped more than the shock absorbing insoles I had purchased. Being neutral coloured they are discreet, although the pink sock is funky for weekends.I have found wearing the sock in the evening after being on my feet all day reduces any swelling and pain reducing the need to wear during the day.I swim and was able to continue gently exercising and swimming whilst I recovered from my injury as a result I have experienced very little weakness in the joint.I was contacted by Adam prior to my sock arriving, sharing instructions and guidance about how to get the best from the sock.I appreciated this personal touch and how quickly Adam responded to my questions.I would recommend the sock to any one with heel or arch pain
