Worth buying!
Received it a few moments ago. The pestle is little different from the picture, but has the rough end as displayed in the picture. Looks and feels sturdy. Satisfied!

It's cute! Perfect size for quickly smashing little quantity of things. I'm happy I bought this rather than IKEA's huge mortar and pestle.The material of the mortar and pestle seems different. The pestle is quite black whereas the mortar is a lighter color. I wish both had been the same dense black color.The internal surface of the mortar has a couple of small groves, but I guess that's how these stone things are. Our kitchen granite also has a couple of small groves. Hence I conclude not the best quality stone.The outer surface is also has a couple of unpolished places, but its outside so I didn't return the product. Its tiny and I think will not affect usability much.-Rujuta
