Soap Dispenser Stainless Steel Brushed Metal or Lotion Dispenser - 9 Ounce - Refillable - Kitchen and Bathroom

UPDATE 12/5/2016: The seller generously sent me -two- replacement dispensers instead of just one, which was really cool. Unfortunately, I now have THREE rusty dispensers. None of them had any issues dispensing the soap, however, they all developed rust on the tip of the nozzle, as well as a rusty gunk on the pump stem, presumably from soap somehow leaking out onto it during use.It's been 5 weeks since my original review, but I noticed rust on the third dispenser about two weeks ago The second dispenser started showing signs of rust within less than 2 weeks, so the third one lasted about as long. It's a great looking dispenser, but unfortunately, it jsut doesn't maintain its appearance. I simply cannot recommend this product.I love the design of the dispenser, and it still works great, but about a month after I purchased it, I noticed that it was definitely NOT rustproof. Rust is forming on the pump stem, and looks like soap might be getting on it somehow. There is also evidence of rust on the nozzle. I'm giving the product 3 stars for now because the company responded to my email within minutes and have offered to ship a replacement. I will update my review in about a month since that's about how long it took for me to notice the rust the first time around.

outside of being way overpriced (minus 1 star,) my other disappointment is the very small size (minus 2nd star,) making the overpriced even more relevant. i bought it because it was the same style as my other 2 glass soap dispensers that i got at target which i love the design & one-handed pumpability of the dispenser, but it's considerably smaller than them. the pump is metal so that's a definite plus, as most are plastic that i've had easily brake and the coloration tends to rub off. no longer wanting glass i was looking for clear plastic/acrylic so i can see soap level & this brushed steel matched my fixtures so i decided to bite the price bullet, but since it will be holding dish soap i'll have to fill this up quite often: only 2.5" diameter & 4.5" height (filling capacity measurements)- i did not check to see if it was a true 9 ounces. extremely lightweight even filled with soap. i probably would have waited to see if the price would come down had i not needed something now. i'll see how this one goes, but i'll likely search for a bigger similar one for kitchen & move this to the bathroom eventually, keeping an eye on the price of this for my second bathroom replacement as i'll be converting my glass to plastics for easier/safer transport in an rv.

It's very pretty just like the photo. Doesn't have much heft though and feels very fragile because it's all plastic. I actually bought it for $21 while the comparables were going for $19 because I like that it doesn't have a giant brand name on it. It actually has a small font "BarMe" on the bottom where you can't see it. Pump works pretty good. I want to complain that it doesn't dispense enough soap but I realize if I actually used it for hand soap it would probably be the perfect amount. My mom has dish detergent in ours so unless I'm only washing two dishes I feel like I'm spreading it pretty thin. I would and did buy a second one when it was going for $18. (just haven't put anything in it yet, but plan on switching them out to handsoap & lotion)

I bought this product after we updated our kitchen counter and sink. This dispenser is very sturdy and durable. My previous dispensers usually break down within the week it is bought. So far, we have had this dispenser for about 1.5 months and it is still as good as when I first got it. I like the design in that I can clearly see when I need to refill the dispenser. It does not tip over at all. It has also not had any rust develop in any of the parts. The only drawback that I have noted is that those who have arthritis may have some difficulty with the plunger system- one has to push a little bit more for it to work. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

I don't know if my family is extraordinarily hard on soap dispensers, but for some reason, about 9 months after I buy a new one, the spigot is snapping off and the next thing I know I have soap all over the container and counter. And apparently I have magic eyes because I, for some reason, am the only one that sees the soap all over everything and cleans it up. But I digress.When I saw this soap dispenser, I knew I had a winner. The spigot is made of stainless steel -not plastic, like so many of the other dispensers out there- so my Herculean family wont be snapping it off in a few months.I love the way this dispenser looks, I love how it has a wide mouth for easy refills, and I love that it is see thru so I know when I'm low on soap or that I don't accidently have a blow-out pouring too much soap in when I do refill it. I will definitely be buying more for other rooms in the house.

This soap dispenser is perfect, however the one slight issue I've found after using it for about a month is that sometimes the soap comes out a little black at the beginning. I tried washing the dispenser and it kept the soap clear for a couple of days until the black came through again. It doesn't appear to be bacterial or anything, just a bit of discoloration. The soap still dispenses and adequately cleans - the black comes out just at the beginning then the second pump is just fine and clear. Overall I like the design so I'm going to keep it, but if the discoloration would bother you then maybe look for a different soap dispenser.

I bought two of these. One is working very well and I have nothing but wonderful to say about it. I keep lotion in that one. I have a complaint about the one I use for soap. It gets gross, brown gunk around the part of the pump that goes up and down. I am a relatively clean person and though we have company every week, the soap doesn't get used excessively. I may purchase another one to be used with soap for another bathroom but I am thinking the problem may be that water gets down in that area of the pump which causes that issue.
