Ringke Air Sports + Bezel Styling Combo Case Designed for Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm - 20-Matte Clear

I'm not all to sure why so many reviews give negative scores when they are "surprised" by what they just purchased. It is 2 piece set that incorporates the air sports case and a bezel stuck on with tape. Should you have known this before buying? of course .. its literally in their product pictures and description. The Air sport case adds a bit of protection for the sides of the watch and doesn't add that much bulk. Wireless charging still functions as normal with both my OEM charger and my aftermarket charging dock. Bezel was easy to install and mates well with the air sport case. No issues observed when using the touch bezel of the watch, functions as normal.As others have noted, be aware that this is not a case that you take on and off. Once the bezel is installed you cannot remove it without damaging/removing the double sided tape. I wouldn't call this a design flaw, but rather a design comprise. Using tape helps to keep the overall design profile lower and close to the watch face. Adding more material/height to make a removeable bezel just does not sound aesthetically pleasing in my mind.As always, a bit a research and/or simply reading the product description goes a long way to keep expectations realistic.

I'll preface the review by saying I modified the case immediately by cutting off the cover (using cuticle scissors) for the Back button so I could use the ECG feature on the Active 2 (see final two pics.) It's not the most elegant solution since it recesses the Back button, but will work well enough until a new case design comes out that works well with the feature. Otherwise, without this mod you wouldn't be able to use the ECG feature...if that's not a feature you care about then the case as it comes is perfect.On to the case. Feels good in hand and on my wrist. Following the installation instructions I was concerned I would break the case, but it was a non-issue. It fit perfectly on the Galaxy Watch Active 2 body, and doesn't impede the heart rate monitor, wireless charger, or wrist bands. No issue with using the digital bezel either.The material seems durable enough that I won't be concerned about bumping or even dropping my watch (I mean, not off a cliff but for daily use I should be gtg.) Seems to mate well with the available screen protector by Spigen.I paid a little more for the additional case bezel version of the case, but decided not to use it at this time. It seems like it would mate well enough with the case, but as mentioned in the description and other buyers it seems like a one-time application kind of deal. I did mock it up (see pics) with both a more traditional watch face (looks pretty sleek), but because I use more "techy" watches faces (Division ones are my current fave) I think the plain black case is sufficient.One more note about the optional case bezel...if applied it would probably provide a slightly raised case surface so that the glass face would be a little more protected, but again I'm not concerned since I installed a separate screen protector.

The bezel has some adhesive under it and is supposed to stick onto the case, but since the case is install back to front, the bezel prevents the case from being removed unless the bezel is also removed. Looks nice though.(Also, it came with two hard screen protectors that were at most 30mm. I'm not sure what that was for.)

Nicely made case and bezel with unquestionable durability. The main issue is that the case is not removable once the bezel has been installed, and the bezel is not intended to be reusable. I bought the black and silver bezel options since the permanence of use was not communicated in the description. Also, the matte clear is not as transparent as I expected. I would have preferred the black case for my aqua black galaxy active 2. Good buy for the protection alone if you have no intention of removing the accessory through the life of the product. I'd suggest a less permanent bezel option that allows changeability.

So it's shiny enough to almost give the illusion that you are using a silver watch. The bezel sticks on top of the rubber case, so it actually makes the face of your watch look much bigger. It's thin enough that it doesn't make your watch too bulky, but it's thick enough that it doesn't feel like plastic or really cheap, feels like pretty strong aluminum. You do have to be careful the adhesive on the back once you peel the sticker off, is sort of 1 time go, so just line it up perfectly on the face of your watch right side up, and place it down gently, then lightly press down on the top and bottom, then left and right. It's a very good purchase and looks good to me.The only downside about it for me, is the buttons on the side, are very stiff once inside the case, good because you don't accidentally hit them, but feels weird, when you try to push down on one and you feel the resistance.

This is what I needed for my watch and it is amazing.My watch fell from me without protection twice and got a bit of aesthetic damage. I decided to buy this case in December and already fell from my again, nothing happened.Not only the protection is great, as the watch also looks much much better than it did before.It is true that the case cannot be removed and that the bezel is not reusable but I honestly don't care about it. For me it is like a 1 time upgrade to a watch and the long it can be looking like it does and well protected is a win for me.The only real downside for me was the installation steps as it was extremely hard for me to fit the case and you may end up damaging it while on the process. I was lucky enough to survive fitting it perfectly.

I'll know more after a few weeks as I've only installed it today, Update, 8 Months later, after swimming, and the occasional shower in it and it still looks good.(video shows 8 months later)

Como verás el cambio es totalmente radical parai Samsung Active 2 de 44, los amantes de los smartwatch de Samsung echamos de menos de lo que fue la primera generación de reloj con el bisel en su contorno que por cierto ahora vuelve a la última generación con el Samsung smartwatch 3, pero a lo que voy, si tienes un Active 2 conseguirás con este pack dos objetivos, el proteger la esfera de posibles golpes ya que está a cristal descubierto y tenemos muchas posibilidades de darle un roze o incluso algo peor, y por otra parte darle un aspecto más premium y no tan sport. Recomiendo su compra, todo son alabanzas aunque no se lleva las cinco estrellas ya que el protector de goma viene muy justa y queda como un guante pero al ser tan justa es algo complicada de poner , solo por eso, pero repito que recomiendo su compra, solo hay que ver las fotos y ver cómo queda, te adjunto varias con el protector de goma y otras con el protector de goma y el bisel puesto ¿No te parece un gran cambio?.Si tienes alguna duda no dudes en preguntarme y te contestaré lo más rápido posible, además te dejo unas fotos para que veas cómo es, espero que te haya servido de ayuda para decirte, seguiré compartiendo mis experiencias reales contigo, muchas gracias por leerme 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
