I just had heart surgery on July 11th to get my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve called an On-X valve, which requires me to take Coumadin/Warfarin for life. I had planned ahead and ordered this to make sure I had it by the time I left the hospital. Since I was sent home 2 days ago, I’ve been able to wear this bracelet without any issues. The thick snake-like chain is super comfortable and solid. The clips on either end make it easy to unclip the one that’s easiest for a left or right handed user. And the engraving on it is perfect. I just went ahead and added more to keep in various places like my car in case I forget to put it on I can have one to reach for. And I love that Apple’s Medical ID is so thorough on iPhone. This allowed me to add that as a final line on my bracelet to make sure a paramedic would go straight there for exceedingly more detail Of my medical conditions and other medications in case I am found unable to speak for myself. The good: the bracelet itself is heavy duty enough that I believe it will last a long time. The engraving is clear and I expect will also hold up well.The meh: a major portion of the color around the snake came off the first day of use/wearing it.Not a deal breaker for me but good ti know.Overall impression good weight not heavy but durable. I am generally happy with this medical bracelet. I’ve spent a lot more and had the color wear off or the bracelet actually fall off and get lost.

I ordered my bracelet in pink, as you can see some of the pink has come off but that's my fault. I am very hard on jewelry. My bracelet came fast, was accurate and including free engraving.

This bracelet was the third medic alert bracelet that I had purchased within a short period of time and I wish it would have been the first! The first two are just too small and very hard to see/read (not good in the event of an emergency!) I was recently diagnosed with a serious medical condition that could be life threatening if medical personnel aren't made aware of it. I didn't want to take a chance with a bracelet that was very difficult to read. I found this bracelet and it looked completely different from the two I have so I customized it with all of the information needed , something I wasn't able to do on the other two because of the small size. I was very happy with the bracelet when it arrived, it is the perfect size and very easy to read and is surprisingly lightweight for such a large bracelet the only problem is that the chain is too long, so I have contacted the seller to see if it is possible to exchange the chain for a shorter one . I will update my review once I receive a response. I highly recommend this Medical alert bracelet ! Update:: I received a response from the seller within a couple of hours and they said they would send a replacement and no need to ship the other one back. I received the replacement two days later and it fit perfectly. This was amazing customer service and I would definitely shop with BBX again.

I wish the medical information font was a little bigger but that would mean the plate would need to be bigger ( and heavier, then). It's actually a good size for my 88 year mom who is petite.
