Another Shimano value
Always loved Shimano value and this shifter is no different. I bought it to go with XT derailleur as I didn’t feel I had to pay XT premium when I don’t need the extra feature in XT.I would recommend that combination (XT derailleur and Deore Shifter) to anyone.

Seamless shifting.
Shimano quality... easy setup.. brilliant shifting. Down shift up to 5 at one time. Up shift lever works in both directions for thumb under bar or finger over the bar. Brilliant.

Quality and smoothness well above it's price.
The shifter is one of the best I've experienced. Shifting to higher/harder gear is push or pull. Clicks into place with clockwork precision. Note the B Limit screw must be aligned properly on the derailleur else poor down shifting.
