Woodworking Tape

If you are buying this tape to hold material down for your cnc please read... From one cnc user to another I can tell you that this tape is second to none when it comes to material holding strength, and ease of use. I have tried just about every other double sided wood tape on Amazon, some include XFasten, LLPT, Hippie Crafter, and while yes all those brands can get the job done, none of them compared to this tape. The first thing I noticed was that the tape came packaged and wrapped better than the other brands as it had an extra layer of plastic wrap around it that helps keep the tape from getting damaged or absorbing moisture. The second thing I noticed while applying the tape to the back of the wood and metal is that it was very easy to reposition once it is on the material but once you press it down and put pressure it holds on for dear life, even if you have a carve that sits over night the next morning the wood or metal will still be held in place. But the thing that makes this take the BOSS is that when you are ready to remove the material from the wasteboard you simply apply upward pressure on one side for a couple of seconds continuously and it pops right off, and the removal of the tape is BEYOND EASY compared to any other brands I have used, it literally peels right off with hardly any pressure leaving no residue at all. I don't know how they did it, but I am a firm believer in this stuff now and it will most defiantly be my go to cnc wood/metal tape. Hope this helps, I strongly recommend trying if you want to save some headaches.

I can tear off pieces by hand which makes life easier in a fast paced work environment. It sticks great. Almost too great. I don't clean off saw dust before using and it still holds perfectly. Use it sparingly if you want your pieces to come apart easily. I have had a couple pieces leave residue behind, but it comes right off with little effort and doesn't leach anything into the wood. No sweat. Don't waste time CA gluing masking tape get you some of this stuff

Sticks well but not so much that it's hard to get off after use and leaves not residue.

Sticks well though sticks better if you clamp the two pieces together. In one case it stuck too well and the piece of particle board split in half when I tried to remove it.

Tape adheres well and is easy to remove by rolling. Thickness is different from what I am used to (thinner) but works well.

Has the holding power to finish turning a thin lid for a bowl. Pleased with its performance.

Similar to other yellow paper backed double sided “cloth” tapes, this roll has plenty of stickiness (especially to itself) but it gums up scissors and it’s a nuisance to start the peel. I’ve used it to secure flat pieces to lathe faceplates, and it’s OK as long as things stay cool. When this tape heats up at all it becomes irreversibly gooey and loses adhesion. It also leaves enough residue to require solvent wipe down and/or sanding. This tape is worth a try for general woodwork but my preference remains thick double-sided masking tape.

Good price on standard 2-sided tape for woodworking. No issues. Will buy again.
