Very nice pan rack
I currently have a very high sided porcelain coated roasting pan that is over 70yrs old. I thought about buying a roaster pan with a rack but most were very shallow and not storage friendly not to mention that any roaster pan that interested me was in the $100 range. I bought this Vollrath rack to use with the old pan and have so far done a 6lb strip loin roast and a 13lb turkey. The rack has performed as I hoped. The rack is very sturdy and easy to clean.

Very nice.
I use these for BBQing and it is nice to have the stainless steel. You can let them soak for a couple days and not worry about rust.

The mesh is however thick and sturdy.
Sub-par craftsmanship as the solder joints were sloppy and the wire mesh was not planar. The mesh is however thick and sturdy.

Good quality, poor fit
Quality of rack is good but I expected it to fit inside the Vollrath 1/4 sheet pan. The rack doesn't sit on the bottom of the sheet pan due to the sheet pans flared sides. Considering they are both Vollrath products I assumed the rack would fit inside the sheet pan.

Have the full size one too
This is essentially the small review as for the full size one.OK, you need to pay top dollar but it is worth every single penny.It is sturdy, dishwasher safe and will last you forever. No more rusty roasting grates. If you soak the baked on food over nigh it is easy to hand wash. Love it ........... the last ones I will ever have to buy.

I like everything about this rack!
I like everything about this cooling rack--the smaller size, and the fact that it is stainless steel and that I can put it in the dishwasher. It is also very sturdy, not flimsy at all. In fact, I will probably order at least one more.

Worth the extra money
These stainless steel super pan V wire grates work just fine for cooling baked goods such as cakes and cookies. Doubtless considering their price, using them just to cool cookies is a bit of an overkill, but they go into the dishwasher with no fear of coming out stained by rust if they were merely chromed steel. Making the kitchen easy to clean up after baking is worth the extra cost to me.
