Brilliantly designed and functional product! Easy to use and works perfectly! I wasn’t expecting much but am blown away by this nose hair clipper. It is small and super easy to operate. Based on reading the reviews, couldn’t imagine how simple and perfectly this works. I’m 68 years old and had no trouble using it.

Overall it’s a good choice, but not as good as a battery powered cutter, but at least no batteries to worry about. Since the cutters are heftier they should last longer than the thinner blades on an electric. The hairs at the edge of the nostrils are not cut flush. They stick out a little. I don’t know if that’s because I don’t angle it right. Maybe those short hairs help filter. Still I clip them with scissors.

OK. I'll admit I have gotten the manual nose and ear hair trimmers in the past but these are a whole new ballgame. First of all, they are heavy duty... in a good way. They weren't a cheap throw away set that grabs and pulls your nose hair. They trimmed it clean the first time. I would never have expected to write a review for a nose hair trimmer but these are legit and worth the money! Well done and thank you!

They’re cute, they work, and they’ll last of ever.But it’s just not an efficient way to do this.Compare one cut per second with a million cuts with a rotating electric blade.I just wanna wave trimmers around my ears and nose and everything to be okay. These require diligence, and time. And even then they’re still not as good as cheapo electric stuff.

Ahhh what a relief. I've had two electronic nose hair clippers, well actually three (one stopped working). This clipper is simple, effective and easy to handle. No Batteries!!!I just noticed today, I don't have the usual nose hair stubble feeling. Maybe it comes tomorrow who knows. But for now Im good. SNIIIIFFFFFFF

TL;DR: Slow, annoying to use and has a spring that breaks after a year of use (1-2x a month usage). Look elsewhere if you want something durable and easy to use.I purchased this nose hair trimmer after my last nose hair trimmer stopped working. I had previously used a string of cheap electric nose hair trimmers, none of which lasted longer than a year before they started to have issues. These issues ranged from just having a ton of corrosion on the battery terminals to simply not working, even with fresh batteries.I was hoping that this manual trimmer would be the solution to my string of nose hair trimmers only lasting 1 year but here I am writing this review a year later with a broken nose hair trimmer.I do not recommend purchasing this set of nose hair trimmers. They require SIGNIFICANTLY more time than electric trimmers to do the same job. This was annoying, but I figured it was worth the trade off not having to worry about changing batteries and having a durable trimmer. What I found is that the main portion of this trimmer is quite durable, but the metal spring that returns the blades back to the starting position is not. The spring is quite flimsy and broke after a year of using it 1 or 2 times a month. You can buy a replacement for $3 from the ROYAL company, but it is not worth the hassle of actually using the trimmer.I personally don't want to buy a new spring every year for these nose hair trimmers as they are slow and are very annoying to use compared to an electric trimmer.I don't want this to be an ad, but I did purchase the Wahl Groomsman Rechargeable Precision Trimmer instead of buying a spring. So far, the Wahl is the best nose hair trimmer I have used. It has ergonomic grips and works much better, resulting in a quicker trim than with this manual unit. Also, the Wahl has a 3 year limited warranty. I've had the same set of Wahl hair trimmers for almost a decade at this point so I have high hopes for the nose hair trimmers as well. (ETA 8 months in and still going strong with the Wahl. I'll update if it dies in another 4 months or so)
