Full Honesty Review with updates.
I purchased this lamp on August 2nd 2013, It was delivered just a few days later on the 6th. I was pretty happy how quickly it came.I got the lamp, and while it did appear a little dim compared to a higher priced one, it was working. Now after a few hours, it let off a burning smell, but that is normal with new lamps, Its called the burn in period. After about 12 hours, the burning stopped. That could vary from person to person, depending on use. So I used it, pretty much all the time for about a month in a half, before, wouldn't you know it, the lamp cut off and the power cut out. My tv has done this once before to indicate the lamp is going bad. So it turned back on and I prepared for the worst. a week gone by, and it didn't do it again, so I chalked it up to temperature overheat. The on September 28th it cut off again, this time taking a bit longer to come on. Eventually it turned back on and everything was fine. Then a day later, as I was sitting watching netflix, it cut off, and it wouldn't turn back on. So, from august 6th to September 29th, which at rough estimate isn't even two months, it blew out. Unlike previous lamps, this one actually didnt explode, so that's a plus. I called Electrified.com About my return, due to the 150 day warranty, and I was quite surprised that they would actually replace it, granted its only gonna be another not-so-good-blow-out-in-less-than-two-months kind of lamp. But satisfied that they are replacing it. Mind you, I do have to ship it with my own money, and then wait for it to get here. But it could be worse. So I guess in summary, if your buying a replacement lamp for your TV, go for the higher price ones. The Panasonic Guaranteed Ones. Otherwise you will be replacing the thing more than once a year, when it should only be replaced every two. I will update this review once again once I have experience with my second replacement lamp.

Replacement Lamp is Bight and Works Well.
I will periodically update my review.I ordered this lamp as a replacement for my original Panasonic LCD lamp that lasted just over four years. On Monday (January 17,2011) evening our original lamp exploded inside the TV with a rather loud bang. After reading the reviews I am still a little bit worried that this lamp (the new Electrified lamp) may not last as long as the original Panasonic lamp. I have been watching the TV for a little more than an hour and the colors seem much brighter than the old lamp, but I can't honestly remember how the TV looked 4 years ago.For a little more than 50% cheaper than the Panasonic Manufacture Original I thought I would give it a try. I will update the review in 45 days, sooner if I have any problems with the lamp.REVIEW UPDATE (April 04, 2011):I have been using the lamp for just over two 1/2 months with absolutely no problems. I would still highly recommend this product. After using the lamp for a few days I had to turn down the brightness on my television but other than that the lamp has worked perfectly.REVIEW UPDATE (June 22, 2011):Lamp is still working. In May our Lamp Light on the TV came on and told us to replace the lamp. I reset the lamp timer again (I reset it when I installed the replacement). The Lamp has still been working perfectly since we installed it in January.REVIEW UPDATE (March 16, 2012) :The Lamp is still working without an issue.REVIEW UPDATE (July 18, 2013):My lamp is not turning on all of the time and when it does the picture is very dark. I just ordered a new lamp (same model) from Amazon to see if it corrects the issues. 2.5 years of use out of the lamp is very good for an everyday use television.

Decent product for the price.
I was a little nervous when I could hear pieces rattling around in the box...The product is definitely cheaper than the factory one that came with the tv. The projector is way lighter and flimsier than the original and like I said came with broken black pieces in the box. I don't know exactly where the pieces broke off from, I think it was the knob thingie. It was kind of a pain installing the thing, I couldn't get it to work at first. We'd been without a TV for a few months and I was going crazy so I just jammed it in there and twisted the knob and it worked! It did kind of have a bad like melting smell the first week or so but that has long since faded. We've had it for almost six months and I would say it was worth it, even if it goes out tomorrow. For the price I wouldn't buy the factory Panasonic bulb (quoted at almost $200), because I would just put that money toward a new TV instead. But this is a good in between fix until I get a new tv.If you aren't super picky and aren't expecting an identical product (just one that works!) than this is a good investment to make your tv work again.EDIT: I totally jinxed myself with this review, less than a week after writing this my lamp went out. Appears the shelf-life on these things is about six months. Bummer. Now to buy another one or buy a new tv?
