Nell Stark does it again
I loved The Princess Affair, and after seeing that this second novel is set in the world of F1 racing, I couldn't resist reading this one too! I noticed some reviews saying they didn't like this one as much as the first, but I honestly enjoyed it just as much as the first book. I found the clashing personalities of Thalia and Alix made for a really interesting dynamic between them, and also liked seeing Thalia's constant battle to be recognized on her own terms in the man's world of racecar driving. I won't spoil too much, but I did thoroughly enjoy following the character arcs of both Thalia and Alix, and felt the book ended very satisfyingly.

Awesome Story of Self-discovery
Once again Nell Stark has written another great book in this series.I'm not a fan of racing but I found myself on the edge of my seat at the vivid descriptions of the races. Also love the slow burn romance between the two characters and how Alix came to understand her attraction to Thalia.

This book is a winner
I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. It is well written, with a good plot line. The two main characters are both very likeable, and have strong personalities. The plot line has some F1 formula racing, but mostly it deals with them interacting to the conflicts caused by their very different back grounds and personalities. As their relationship develops and grows, they both have to put in the work and effort that enables their relationship to develop them into a beautiful couple.I also found it refreshing to read a lesbian romance where a wonderful main character isn't suffering from the depression of being mysteriously dumped by her partner, or her partner suddenly died.

Fast and classy
The author did a great job with first of all: plot, then pacing, background, contrast and character buildup. The story of a popular race car driver falling for the kingdom's not-so-hot (in the conventional sense) princess is intriguing. The characters were portrayed with so much dignity it's hard not to root for their success. It's kind of a trip down Monaco's F1 race track...One of my favorites. :)

Love the romance!
Talk about a romance story with the backdrop of Monaco, fast cars, and beautiful women with a lot of angst!I enjoyed this story very much. Thalia's volatile, dynamic personality and Alix's cool and methodical personality which demonstrated still waters that ran very deep. They could not have been more opposite from each other yet, the romance was as intense as the scenes on the race track! Very well done!

A sure Winner
The Princess and the prix, romantic, excitement, tearful, a winner! Starts out with the excitement of racing. The story ofRace car driving, puts the reader right be hind the wheel ofA race car! Also puts the feeling of a woman competing in a man's word. A woman facing usual retaliation being a Police Officer, Firefighter, or President. The love story was of course romantic. Please we need another Princess Story!

Decent but not amazing
I was a huge fan of 'The Princess Affair' and expected to be one of this book as well. I was a little let down. Nothing exciting happens until 1/3 of the way through the book and the characters aren't as likable as the authors other books. Nell Stark does such a great job making you think Thalia is a jerk that it was hard to believe her redemption. This is my least favorite book by this author. Not to say I won't read her stuff again...I just hope that it isn't like this.

Meh, so-so.
**SPOILER ALERT**The Princess and the Prix was just an average read. I thought I would enjoy it because The Princess Affair was such a delight. Such was not the case. While I learned more about Formula One than I ever imagined that I would, the romance seemed to fall flat, especially because the ending was so abrupt and there was no coming out moment for Thalia and Alix. It was merely alluded to in an open ended cliffhanger. I found that less than satisfying.

Everyone needs to read this.
This is my first book I have brought of Nells, but it wont be the last. What a fantastic writer, the story has you bagged from the start, and winds its way through the book curves of the up and down relationship between the two characters, I may need to read it again soon so as to make sure I haven't missed anything.
