It works
My use case: extra waterproofing for my backpack when commuting via motorcycleThe material looks like it will let the water roll off.If it ends up letting small amounts through the material itself I'll just use a waterproofing spray. (I travel highway speeds, so it may not need that for hiking etc. I will update if I end up needing to do this.)I purchased the M 25-35L and it covers my AXO 29101-02-000 Red Commuter Backpack well. The backpack is about 14x19x7.5 inches with my usual usage.Even if I need to pack more stuff the cover size will work as there's extra room left.I think they could use a different stitch for the straps because one of them separated a bit when I tightened it a small amount. (the one I received was just defective, see update below)I decided to use the straps in the length they were originally and it looks fine.Update: It turns out the one I got was defective. Frelaxy sent a new one and it all of the stitches are strong. Great customer service!Second update: (April 21 2019) I've used this more than a few times now while commuting via motorcycle in the rain and it worked very well! It even partially covers the back panel of my backpack, so there wasn't much water at all between my back and the backpack.

Perfect for rainy days
Bought this for my son at college. He already had a backpack that met all his needs, but was getting caught in torrential downpours that threatened his laptop and study materials. This was the perfect solution! He straps this on over his pack and then when he reaches his next class slips it off and puts it in the little carry pouch No dripping backpack and dry laptop. Win!

Flood Tested
I purchased this product a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to test it until a recent torrential rain storm. The cover is light, but it has a good thickness to it, so I didn't feel like it was very fragile. It was easy to slip on to my bag and the clipped straps held it in place. I thought the cover clips were going to make it difficult for me to use the shoulder straps, but it wasn't a problem with a slight bit of adjustment. After a half mile walk in the downpour, I got to my destination and found that the cover had repelled most water and was not too damp itself (i.e. it was not absorbing water). My bag was totally dry. I don't know how durable this product will be, but I'm happy with it so far. When purchasing the product, I went by the inch measurements, not the "Size" (volume in liters). If I had gone my the size, the cover would have been too small for my bag.

Best option under $60
Let me preface this by saying that although I think this cover is far from perfect, I bought a second one after a shakedown with the first and anticipate buying more as the current ones wear out.Pros:- It’s waterproof—kept my pack dry in three hours of moderate rain- Easy to put on and tighten, even with rain mitts on- Fits over tall packs and packs with brains- Fits over a dog pack (I cut off one direction of the straps and clip the other under his belly)- Comes with a sack- Cost is very good- Fairly durable and abrasion resistant. Had a few light scrapes and it came through without issue but I wouldn’t take it too far off trail. I’m about 50 rain miles in and haven’t needed to reseal anywhere but the bottom.- XX Large weighs 3.3 oz without sack. Large weighs 2.9 oz without the sack. This is great for this price pointCons:- No bottom reinforcement so bottom waterproofing wore out and I got a few small tears from putting it on the ground. Easy to patch and reseal but annoying and adds weight- Not the best fit over packs without vertical height. If the elastic can’t “wrap” over the top (for example when the shoulder straps connect with the top of the pack), water gets in at that point. Use of an umbrella negates this issueColor is not as vibrant as pictured. The blue is muted and the orange is more of a burnt orange than a “don’t shoot, I’m not prey” orange. I’ll be getting another color for hunting seasonSizing is not accurate, especially if you carry anything on the outside of your pack. I bought a XXL for a 65L Osprey Ariel pack (and a L for a Groundbird Gear Medium/~20L dog pack)Other:-Sack is not attached to the cover and has a zippered closure. Depending on your preferences these are pros or cons.- As with most (all?) pack rain flies, your back will get wet using this without an umbrella

Love this Pack Rain Cover
So much good in this inexpensive pack cover! It fit my Camelback 22L fully loaded perfectly, the straps were amazing when everyone else’s rain covers were flapping around or blowing off their packs, and it worked well to keep my pack dry (a little moisture was on the inside of the cover, but that’s the norm with any cover). I may even buy one for my Deuter 60L to replace the current one I have from Walmart.

An amazing value!
I’m so happy with this purchase. So much so that I bought another one for my large adventure backpack. I love the buckles and it doesn’t slide around at all. I can throw it on quickly and it packs away nicely. It got this wet just talking a long walk from the parking lot at work to my office (even with an umbrella). My backpack stayed dry. I highly recommend this, especially for public transportation commuters.
