This wok spatula is wonderful. Though I don't usually leave it in the wok while cooking, the wood handle protects against burning a hand. The spatula is very sturdy, well built, and lifts food perfectly from the curved wok. The weight has just enough weight for easy handling but not too heavy at all. Great 'bang for my buck' & I would recommend it to anyone =8-) I would like to add, however, that when I get an email asking if I'd like to review an item, it is Quite annoying to have to go through all the log-in/security rigamarole. It would be great if there were a way to provide a review without all that (assuming, of course, one Would be required to do the 'rigamarole' if wanting also to purchase something. Just a thought...

I purchased this and used it to prepare lunch for Chinese new year. Worked as expected, sturdy and well worth the money.

This is a well-made utensil that is lovely to look at, and to use. You cannot use a wok effectively without a wok chuan (aka, wok spatula). And this is the best, IMHO. And if your wok is well-seasoned (and well-maintained - mine is carbon steel) you will have no problem with using this stainless steel chuan - it will not damage a seasoned wok. Nylon and wooden chuans do not perform anywhere near as well. Got a nice wok? Buy this. (And never put it in a dishwasher! Hot running water and a stiff kitchen brush is all you will ever need.)

We bought a few wok spatulas. This one is the best. It is well constructed from strong steel. The front doesn't bend when you press hard on the wok. It is a bit heavier than the others we tried. The front edge could be sharp and scratch the wok. I filed it to be a bit duller with a stone. We like the wooden handle to keep off the heat.

I purchased the Wok Spatula for my boyfriend to use on his Wok. It worked great. You can really get all the goodies from the sides of the wok. It is made very well. Has a nice weight to it and looks great!
