Good advice book for dealing with surviving after partner has cancer

I am several weeks into my role as a caregiver and struggling. After reading the description and reviews this book appeared to be a good resource. This book needs to be purchased the day your loved receives his/her cancer diagnosis. It’s extremely basic for someone with little to no experience in the healthcare world. I don’t use the phrase “caregiving for dummies” condescendingly, but just like all the “for dummies” books it’s extremely basic information. I read the entire booklet in less than an hour, so definitely not worth the price.

I give this book a five star rating! Katie Brown is an amazing writer! It’s about time someone wrote a book like this!!!!

Katie is an knowledgable and tireless advocate. This is a well-organized and well-written book that is a great resource for care givers.

Thoughtfully written tips and suggestions by a seasoned caregiver and advocate. A must for every caregiver.

I cannot say enough great things about this book! It is AWESOME!! I wish it had been around when my dad was battling cancer. It is a must read for any caregiver.

As a caregiver to my sister this book was a great read. It talked about the ins and outs of care giving. A++ to Katie Brown for a great book!
