I bought the Blackview 9500 pro in 2019 and after 2 years I can leave a fair review. Battery life is amazing, you can use the mobile for hours and hours, for GPS navigation, playing videos, calling, listening to music, even all at the same time.. it keeps going. Really tough telephone also, you can really drop it everywhere it will keep working. However (yes, there is a however) all the sensors (Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, WiFi) are all terribly rubbish. I use the mobile as a navigator and the GPS is so frustrating, basically unusable. The NFC does not work properly and the Google Pay and other touchless payment apps can only be used to pay in some shops and weirdly it does not work in other shops. Bluetooth keeps disconnecting, WiFI shows always a very poor signal where other mobiles have a good signal. These sensors were pretty bad from the beginning, and with time especially the GPS have worsened. So, though the mobile still works fine, I have to change it because so many apps that we are now used to, are basically not working. My wife has had now an ulefone Armor 7 and is fantastic, it is a shame though that the battery is half of the Blackview :|

Like any other rugged phone user, I was motivated to buy the phone for outdoor use. One feature that intrigued me most was the underwater camera.Having bought the phone in 2020, I recently decided to put the underwater camera feature to test when I went snorkeling. The phone died. Mind you, this was the first time I was trying out the feature. I have was under the water for 10 mins; the manufacturer claims that the phone can withstand 30 mins under the water.When I informed Ulefone, they told me that the water resistance diminishes with time (this is hidden from the advertisement) and they refused to repair or replace the phone.Conclusions:Given that my phone was just over a year (1 year 4 months to be specific) and it died when I tried under the water camera feature for the first time, I can conclude that Ulefone makes their phones to last for just a year. Rugged Phones are built to last, but for ulefone, they have a one year lifespan. If you don't want to buy a new phone every year, I'd advise you to stay away from Ulefone.

Having just received the Armor 7 today, I feel like it has potential to be exactly the phone I am looking for with a balance of specs and durability. I hope to be satisfied with the phone's performance over the next few years at least.
