The Wife Upstairs: A twisted psychological thriller that will keep you guessing

Excellent Thriller!
This is one of my top favorite Freida McFadden books! I think that the story does a great job showing love bombing, narcissism, manipulation, and how it can (and often does) lead to some horrible abuse. The parts displaying those themes will definitely make you angry at the abuser...and very sad for the victim. 10/10. I seriously couldn't put this book down.

I love Freida’s books
The Wife Upstairs did not disappoint. Who was telling the truth? Was it the wife? Was it Adam? I couldn’t put the book down. I read it in 2 days.

Wow!!!!
This is another great book by this author. Every time I read one of her books I think they can’t get better but she is so incredible.! You will not be able to put this book down and it will be another thrilling ride of your life. I’m always sad when I get to the end because I haven’t found any author that can write like Frieda Mc Fadden can. She is the master of the psychological thriller.

pretty good
I could have sworn I read this before but maybe not. Quick read. You kind of already know what’s going to happen but it was still entertaining despite that.

About The Wife Upstairs...
Wait, what? This is Verity just different. I am not even sure how to rate this book. If you read Verity already, you might regret getting this book because you paid more money for the exact same plot line. If you haven't read Verity already, you might enjoy it...

Good read
4.5-there were similar elements to other books regarding the main plot in this book. I really thought I knew where it was going, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were a few twists that I enjoyed. The main character was pretty developed and not naïve as I thought that she would be. I used a 4.5 because I prefer more POV‘s and past/ present timelines. Highly recommend.

Frieda Mcfadden is the pied piper of story telling.
This is a book I could not put down, from start to finish. As good as The House Maid was, this in my opinion was even better.I have this in my top 3,of all the fantastic collection of books,Frieda has written.A thriller that Alfred Hithcock would have been proud of.Frieda I love you, for bringing back the golden age of thrillers,Boris Karloff,Alfred Hitchcock and the great Vicent Price movies. She is now my favorite author of all time and that is saying a lot.I Have bought all 26 of her books and have only 7 left to read, now that is scary. Jeff

how does Freida do it!?
Sylvia was the only one to make it through the hell of living in that creepy mansion, not sure what was true or what was lies! Adam wrote his own book, basically. Lies on top of lies! I enjoyed this one !
