Beautiful trench coat for the money.
Very nice quality of materials and style. Dark khaki is great color as it goes with everything. Looks great on my husband who is 5 ' 9 1/2" and weighs 197. ordered 44S and it fits perfectly.

Great coat.
The coat fits me in the chest, but is just a little long in the sleeve, though wearing a suit coat underneath helped with that. The color is perfect, and it is not too thick or too thin.

Attractive, classic-look trench coat
A good trench coat is essential for a well-dressed man's wardrobe. And the London Fog Plymouth Twill certainly captures the classic styling of a vintage trench coat. Outwardly, it looks great, with epaulettes, adjustable wrist buckles, a belt that does not easily tangle, and a dark khaki hue. This is what most people would imagine a good trench coat to look like. You will not be mistaken for either Columbo or a Matrix wannabe when wearing this coat! And it's comfortable to wear, with soft pocket linings and a breast pocket that even has a zipper. The coat is roomy. It's intended to be worn over a suit jacket or blazer. Without it, unless you are very portly, the coat will appear too large for you. There's nothing unusual about this, as this is how trench coats are usually sized unless you happen to find one that follows the slim-fit trend. Just buy the size that corresponds to the size of your usual blazer and you will be fine. And you will want to wear this over a blazer as the coat does not come with a heavy removable lining (more about this later). The roominess may not be appealing to those used to a more tailored, tighter fit.Of course, at this price point, corners will be cut. The first thing I noticed was, despite the otherwise sturdy stitching throughout, the buttons were not securely attached to the coat. This may turn into an issue that will haunt you, because it is not fun reattaching buttons yourself and because London Fog recommends machine washing and not dry cleaning the coat. Washing machines are notorious for loosening buttons! The second, possibly more serious issue is that quality trench coats usually come with a removable inner lining to help keep you warm in colder weather. This coat does NOT have such a removable zipper lining. While no one ever confused a classic trench for a parka, the lack of a good lining is a very big deal if you're planning on wearing this below, say, 52 degrees F. (The presence of a good lining would go a long way toward making the coat less roomy, too). The wind will cut through this coat. And, as the coat is not waterproofed, a lining would help keep you try on very rainy days.Yes, London Fog's description makes it clear that there is no removable lining. Even so, given the coat's good looks, a lining is something you'd expect. Now that you know the shortcomings, you can make a better informed decision. I wish I could have given this a split rating, with a 4 for the look of the coat and a 3 for the buttons issue.

More than I expected!
It fits pretty well, I bought the 40 small, but I should have gotten the 38 s and it would have still been enough to let me fit a suit jacket in there too. My fault. The fabric was great, I expected a 100 percent polyester coat like my other one tbh, but this coat is actually part nylon (the stuff most jeans are made out of). The nylon mix feels and looks so much better than the 100 polyester. I'm glad I bought this coat, hell I says it's better than my cotton poly coat I wore before. You don't really have to order a size larger, cuz the coat is pretty big (being double breastfed n all). Nylon mix is A OKAY in my book, it's the shiny 100 percent polyester coats on amazon people should stay away from.

A Good Product, Not as good as I expected
A decent looking trench coat. Feels soft, lightweight and not very warm. Perfect over a suit jacket and not slim enough to wear over shirt. This is not 100% polyester but bi-constituent with nylon. That does NOT make it a waterproof raincoat. But it would be water resistant. Then, because it does not have a full body liner, it won't surely be warm when wet. So wear it in drizzle , not heavy rain. People who wear a trench would love to buy one and expect it to last over 10 years. I doubt it would hold. What I liked about design is double gun flaps like a classic trench coat. That may compel me to keep this. But it would have been lot better to have this with a full body liner.

Perfectly as described and very well made. Great value.
This coat is perfect except that I ordered it too small. The size is correctly stated but I purchased it as a gift and didn’t realize my son had added a few pounds. :)

Best bang for your buck!
You will not get a better quality overcoat for this price. Material, stitching, linking and buttons are top quality. I find the belt a little snug but honestly I am overly impressed with this product, I highly recommend.

Just as advertised
This jacket fit beautifully and very smart. Goes well over a suit. Seems to protect against light rain. Not yet tested on a heavy rain but quite a heavy fabric so hoping it works.

Pretty good coat for the price. Not easy to get a long fit these days, so that alone makes it stand out amongst the crowd
