Helle Alden Knife

A beautiful knife, I almost hated to try it out. It is razor sharp out of the box. The handle fits my hand well.It cut through some pine fire wood like it was nothing and still retained it's edge. That's about all I can say until I take it into the field with me, but I think I'm going to like this one.

Perfect. This is now my favorite knife. The ergonomics are perfect, it came hair-popping sharp, the handles are gorgeous, and I can't find a problem with it, given that it's a hand made knife. The sheath is also great. Think of this as a high-end Mora. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Knife is as advertised, well made, and very sharp. The handle is very plain and light color no patterns.

Absolutely beautiful knife! Couldn't ask for more. The sheath fits great, but the quality of the leather is a little cheap. Other than that I love it. Big hunter and outdoorsman.

Have not used the knife yet as its more of a collectors piece for me. This knife is beautiful and has good weight and is exactly what I expected from a quality knife maker. I also love that it's handmade.

I own other Helle knives and all of them are excellent examples of the knife makers art. Frankly I was shocked when I received this one. The attention to detail and the workmanship are sloppy. The piece of wood choosen for the handle has an ugly blemish. The blade is not set straight in line with the handle. The workmanship where the blade is joined to the hilt is poorly done. The overall effect on the appearance of the knife is shoddy. Rudimentary quality control would not a of allowed this knife out of the factory door.

its was pretty..? but grind was uneven showed dramatically on blade tip ! also its very light.. i know it would not have lasted me very long at all efore breaking ! I just added some more money and got a Battle Horse Knife..

This is a very well made knive. Gorgeous with an awesome presentation, came in cylinder shaped box with cleaning cloth.
