Given the small size and weight ( a little bigger than a pack of gum ) I wasn’t sure if it would live up to the hype found in the reviews. But I was quite surprised and impressed how well it worked! The images are remarkably good for 1080P, ( I’ve seen many devices claim to be 4K that aren’t as sharp as the W1 ) and the auto is clean and clear. On your person, given how light the unit is, tends to bounce around as you move. But I’ve seen learned that unless you need to photo-document something like a package delivery, it will auto record conversations remarkably well if you just turn it on and put into a pants pocket or even better a vest pocket - it is then discrete and undetectable. This BOBLOV W1 is cheap insurance to have when having “ he said, I said” situations to document the conversation for possible future reference.

I wanted a small bodycam that could clip onto my arm-band phone case and this successfully does that! Only 3 inches in height, so def compact and it is very light weight, do not even notice that it is on my arm. Plan to use it on my dog walks and want to have video/audio proof in case of some kind of interaction with other people/vehicles, as I have been almost hit by cars that are not paying attention and I know of a friend that was threatened by someone else when out walking their dog! Video/Audio proof would have really helped him Video: The video itself is very clear and picks up sounds very well. It does everything that I want it to do. Downside: No video stabilization! But for the price, I didn't expect that, nor really needed for my application. So far very pleased and would recommend it

Do not buy this body camera. The BAD: 1. When recording video, the sound consistently stops recording. I still get video, but losing sound randomly is a huge problem. 2. The clip isn’t good. While it can stay somewhat in place with the front clip, it can be knocked off or grabbed too easily. (Currently looking for some way to secure it better). 3. The reset button doesn’t work. 4. Figuring out the timestamp setting was annoying. The file from Boblov was no good; at least for my Mac. I made a custom txt file, labeled it timeset.txt, input the time in the following format on the first line 2001/01/01 01:01:01, and then copy and pasted it onto the SD card. The GOOD: 1. I liked the size and the light weight, though it did seem still too thick for a mini-body camera. 2. Camera video quality was passable; it wasn’t great. 3. Plug and play is great! 4. The recording light is very discrete, which is great! Overall. I would NOT buy this product again. The sound recording needs to be consistent for video recording! Maybe, MAYBE I can deal with the other drawbacks, but there is a lot of room for improvement with this body camera. I did not contact Boblov about my issues, as this was a Xmas gift that is just now being assessed.

I wanted a small, discreet camera to use on our dog walks because, if an untoward incident occurs, video evidence is better than recall. I had to send for info to apply the time/date stamp, as I could not download the text file from the boblov website. In the text message (yq_config_file) I received, I changed to the correct time and date. With the camera connected to the computer via the USB cord, I then saved the revised text file to the USB file (F: drive, in my case, Windows Vista). Time will tell about durability, but so far: Pros: (1) It’s small (75 mm x 26 mm x 15 mm) and black so as to not be easily noticed. The small flashing light is to the side, not the front. (2) A 64Gb TF (micro SD) card is included. (3) It takes good video (1080p at 30 fps). (4) The audio is surprisingly good for such a small camera. (5) It does a good enough job in low (indoors) lighting, and seems okay in drizzly rain. (6) Our dog walks last 60-75m, and the camera is still running at the end. Cons: (1) The instructions say (a) video recording: flashes blue (b) charging: flashes chartreuse To my aging eyes, these appear to be reversed in my camera. (2) I needed to revise the clip after the camera fell off my sling pack strap while I was shoveling snow on a walk. Good thing I felt my strap and looked back. There it was­--lying on the sidewalk! Back home, I cleaned the clip. Then using one-sided sticky Velcro, applied rough Velcro out (facing camera body) on the outside clip. It seems to have helped retain the camera better. REVISION (3.25.24): Well, initially, I liked the camera very much. I even bought another one. Now, I have to downgrade my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because in varying (not so much) outdoors lighting, the video would go almost dark, like the darkness of dusk just before nightfall. I thought it was just the one camera, but the 2nd one has the same problem. If I can see pretty well with my aging eyes, I expect the video camera to record almost as well as what my eyes saw. Revision 6.30.24. I like the camera, hence now 4 stars. The biggest drawback is that the clip alone is not enough to hold the camera to a sling strap. I would suggest Boblov include a lanyard. I lost one of my cameras on a dog walk when I stopped to cut tall weeds.

Telecamera fatta discretamente bene,in plastica con clip anteriore molto debole per l'aggancio, se si forza si spezza subito.Vomeve capitoto a me.Regge bene la carica col tempo ed è di facile utilizzo.Accessori da poter portare sempre al seguito,piccolo e discreto.Cmq soddisfacente.

Absolutely incredible picture and sound capture for $90. Easy to use and sync with my computer. If you know how to download a file from a trusted website and open a file on your computer it’s not hard to change the time stamp as well!

Fonctionne bien, et remplit bien son rôle

Tiene una gran calidad de imagen y de grabación de audio. Ideal para grabar reuniones y atención de funcionarios. Permite también, gracias a sus dos ganchos, que se quede bien fija a la ropa o a un sistema Molle. Se podría usar como equipo de seguridad discreto, aunque existen modelos de esta marca mejores para ese cometido. Como pega, no tiene visión nocturna y una batería relativamente limitada, pero es el modelo más barato de Boblov y la discreción de su tamaño va unida a la pérdida de características. No depende luego de ningún software ni cosas raras, como otra cámara oculta que tuve que comprar. Es muy sencilla de usar y operar. El botón de instantánea no para la grabación de vídeo.
