Excellent Tile Laying Game
Very unique tile-laying game with a rock-paper-scissors type mechanic. You take turns exploring new tiles by pulling a random one from the bag and deciding which side to place down. Since the tiles are two sided, and there are three energies, this lends deep strategy as to what to place and where to place it. Players don't know which energy will be the winning energy, so everyone must consider several move ahead to be prepared for any shifts in power. The game plays best with two or three, but the "solo rules" are nothing more than one player playing two sides with one side's movements decided via a random bag. Not a true solo version; I would have love to see more of a set challenge rather than a shadow player.Overall, VERY good game for the price and the unique indie-aspect deserves a spot on any serious game shelf.NOTE: The always excellent "Watch It Played" video series was invaluable when learning this game. This smells like a fire sale
This is actually a pretty neat game. I think the company (I use the term loosely as this is kickstarter product) may have folded, as there have been no updates on their website for years and the rule book makes numerous references to expansions. So the price right now may be them just trying to offload the product which is a shame, I like the price but I would have liked to see the neat ideas in this game survive. If I'm wrong leave me a comment, I'd be happy to be wrong.

Good, could be better
While the game parts are very nicely made--I like how thick the cardstock is--the game itself is rather difficult to grasp (or explain) with the goal being a bit too abstract to interest most people I know and the rules needing some better wording. However, I do like that there's a solo option and that it has a druid theme. I just wish the theme was implemented in a more vibrant/interesting/narrative-focused way because I think that'd help me convince friends to play this when they're are other games with stronger themes and clearer goals at the table.

Good game but needs something
Game well made and fun. Rules were easy to understand and even had a solo game that was fun. Just seemed incomplete and wish all pieces had a function in the game

... is one of those games that has a really good idea and poor implementation
This is one of those games that has a really good idea and poor implementation. I like the game but I am modifying some of the tiles to make it more enjoyable to play. I am glad the game price is so low and the art quality is so high or I would get rid of it.

Looks funner that it actually is
The card actions I was looking forward to using, ultimately have very unimaginative actions. Overly complicated, hard to strategize a victory as the turn of a dime radically alters outcome (this part is kind of fatalistic/cool if you are not supercompetitive). Good thing it only costs 10 bucks.

If you like abstract games you will surely love this one
If you like abstract games you will surely love this one, you have to be very aware of all your possibilities each turn .. the solo version is great also!

Great game for two people!
This game is strategic, beautiful, and fun to play. My husband usually doesnt like to play board games without more people. This game is actually made for two or three players. It can be played in 30-45 minutes so we can play it on a weeknight. I would definitely recommend this game and bought one for our best friends.
