Bought this in conjunction to a SABRENT 1TB SSD, to upgrade my MacBook. High quality product and perfect for my area of application. Great value for money and very easy to install. One thing to know is once installed this doesn’t support internet recovery, it’s very easy to follow a YouTube video and think the item is faulty. Have a quick read of the description or the slip of paper will save you a lot of time and hassle.

The fourth adapter I've bought to use with Sabrent SSD, best so far, read and write speeds comparable with original Apple ssd, computer temperature stays low, and boots up while plugged in to charger, seems to go into sleep mode ok, all these issues have been there on other adapters. Only issue now is crashing when computer restarts, not sure if this is the ssd or the adapter.

Bought in conjunction with a SABRENT 2242 M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB drive, to upgrade my MacBook A1708. Drive slotted in perfectly and then the two bits were easy to put into the Mac. Then it’s just a question of reinstalling the OS version you last did your backup on, then use time machine to get your Mac just like it was.

It was hit and miss. I got excited when at the 2nd attempt it was recognised by my MacBook Pro 2017. Then it stopped loading the Mac OS and eventually went back to square one by not being recognised by my MacBook. Returned to Amazon for a refund.

Came in 10 days.I bought this adapted because my SSD in MacBook pro A1708 mid-2017 died. I have bought sabrent ssd nvme m.2 1TB 2242 and it works with this adapter flawlessly.Adapter came in great condition. It is well-made adapter with great soldering and PCB. I can recommend it.It came with screws and bracket for 30 mm m.2 ssd. There is no screwdriver, make sure you have some small philips screwdriver laying around.This adapted only works on model A1708 so make sure which model is your MacBook before purchasing.

Perfect for upgrading my niece’s 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch (non-Touch Bar) from 128gb to 512gb. I used this Samsung SSD from Amazon for only $49.00 It was a simple installation. Marche parfaitement avec mon MacBook Pro 2017

Elegí esta interfaz porque mi disco de mac book pro mid 2017 1708 sin touch bar es de 128 GB y me quedé sin espacio. Seguí las instrucciones para instalación y quedó justo con el espacio para cerrar bien la tapa de la Mac, en cuanto a compatibilidad con ssd m2, sin problemas. Es de buena calidad aunque si es notable la diferencia entre los pins del módulo original y este, parece que no tiene recubrimiento de oro.

Funziona per il Macbook Pro 2017 (A1708) con SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus da 1TB. Installazione sistema operativo tramite boot USB di Catalina OS.
