Great but unreliable
Was promised 2 day shipping by 10pm. You didn’t even ship it to Amazon until 1:32am, well after 10pm when it was supposed to be here. The next day means nothing when you’re leaving for a camping trip. No apology, no discount, no nothing. It’s a good product by a good company. That’s why I’m disappointed…

Delicious and Filling
I got this for a camping music festival and it was clutch. I put a few on my car dash for a few hours and then had a hot, delicious, filling meal whenever i wanted. I had several left over and microwaved those at my house weeks later and they were still every bit as great as at the festival.

Affordable, long lasting, but inaccurate MRE flavors
I got these for emergency prepping purposes. I don't have any previous experience with MRE's other than seeing people review military ones on YouTube videos. The advantage of these is that you get only an entree and none of the other fillers.First impression upon receiving the box is that they are much smaller than I anticipated - but then again, how much was I expecting for $3.66 per pouch? The box they are contained in measures 10"x8"x6". Each food packet measures 4.5"x8". The quantity of food in each packet varies between meals. Very compact for storage purposes. The shipping box states almost a full 5 year shelf life which is great - better than canned foods. After checking some of the date codes on individual packets, I found that they were produced over 1.5 years ago. So the shelf life is actually much less than 5 years. Not surprising since the entrees were all mix and matched. Disappointing to me, but maybe not a deal breaker for others. So my box was cosmetically damaged upon arrival, which is no big deal. But on one side, it looked like it was slit open. Was it intentionally opened or not? Who knows what happened? I still had all the meals inside. So the list of meals on the box did not match what was given on the product listing. And what was contained in the box did not even match what was listed on the outside of the box! A full star off for that. I received 6 beef ravioli pouches - I hope they're not bad. The entree selection is actually from the actual military MRE menu - there are 24 different ones.I've only tested out the jalapeno beef under low activity conditions. It tasted like it looked. No one should be expecting gourmet food here, but it was edible. If and when you're hungry, you won't be and shouldn't be complaining. You'll be totally glad you have these. I'm a male just under 135 lbs. So far, I'll say that one pouch could barely suffice as a meal with the addition of water. But under higher calorie burning conditions, or if you're bigger than me, we would probably need to consume two of these MRE's for them to suffice as a full meal. At $7.33 per meal given what I paid, that would still be pretty economical.I tested out a couple more of these, but after heating them up first. They actually taste way better warm than cold - not surprising. To summarize, I would recommend these for emergency purposes, for outdoor hiking/camping/hunting ventures, or just as a convenient meal on the fly. Just don't expect your entree selection to be 100% accurate as other reviews have mentioned also.

Perfect and a good amount for the money!!!
We got a variety of beef and chicken like the advertisement says. These are filling! My teenager loves them and it’s beats her making those crappy chefboyrd can garbage food. This is a healthy option! We enjoyed them so so much that I have now bought another two boxes.I originally bought them for storage food and we decided to just try one, and now this will be something we always have added to our grocery bill.3$ per pack which isn’t too bad and after eating it we were full until meal time later.I say if your looking for storage food, the price is right: don’t try one like we did tho or your going to be buying these precooked meals wondering why we ever did buy one of them disgusting TV dinners from grocery store. I mean I can honestly say that and cooked garbage from the grocery stores has nothing on these as far as taste, and health along with the wow factor of satisfaction…Buy this! If you don’t i will be lol, every week I’m buying two boxes

Worth it
I hope I never have to actually eat these, but the peace of mind having them helps me sleep at night. The price was well worth it. Size doesn’t take up much storage space.
