French Bible, Segond 1910 Black Hardcover, Handheld size Red Letter

This Segond 1910 French Bible is well-made and easy to read. The hardcover is durable, and its compact size makes it convenient to carry. The red-letter edition is a nice touch. Highly recommended!

I like it . It’s not heavy . Very clean and smaller

I bought this for a friend. I can’t read it but I wanted to give photos to show the size and the thinness of the pages and a picture of the maps so people can see. I think it’s nice. It was smaller than I expected but that’s ok.

The review of 4 March 2003, by user sql3642, is the most accurate description of this product. Contrary to some of the other reviews this is NOT a revision of the LSG (Louis Segond) translation. This is a new translation altogether and is written in simpler and more direct French.Useful features include a well written introduction explaining which original texts were used for the translation and a vocabulary section in the back for words that are not necessarily French or are not commonly used adopted words.This translation is fantastic for an English speaking student of French. My only complaint is the lack of direct and accurate information about French translations in general. Even on the web site of the American Bible Society there isn't a truly authoritative guide to which publications of French bibles are which translation. Be careful; you may end up purchasing a translation you did not intend to.Also, Amazon links from this bible to hardcover editions of different translations. Be wary.
