An excellent buy, extremely sharp and grates with efficiently. However be careful while grating as careless handling may cause cuts.

I would have given it 5 star except for the fact that the protective casing just doesn’t stay on, and it always comes off in my kitchen drawer. Annoying.

It's ergonomic, lightweight and sharp. It's a ribbon cutter so cuts in broad but thin strips. My cheese came out 1mm thick and 5mm broad. It could easily zest sweet lime and lemon. If you're looking for narrow strips you should go to the other variety in the same brand. I don't mind this breadth so I'll be keeping this one. Cleaning seems difficult as you're always afraid of cutting yourself or your scrubber/ brush as the blades are so sharp. Adding my comments after using it for a week. I'm able to clean it by soaking in waterand loosening the stuck up veggies, washing in running water while using a stiff nylon brush to remove food. Please be careful and don't use your fingers to clean!!

I've been using this Victorinox grater mainly for cheese on camping trips, and it’s proven to be a solid bit of kit. Its flat, compact design, along with the protective sleeve, makes it ideal for chucking into a camp box without worrying about it taking up too much space or damaging other gear. The handle gives a good, secure grip, which is a big plus when you're trying to grate over a campfire and don't want to risk dropping it or, worse, slicing a hand. Cleaning it is a doddle; it's just one flat piece, so there are no awkward nooks or crannies for bits of cheese to get stuck in. As you'd expect from Victorinox, it arrived very sharp, and it's held its edge well so far, even after repeated use. Compared to my old method of just dicing cheese with a knife, this has been a revelation – far quicker and a lot less faff. If you're after a simple, effective, and easy-to-clean grater, especially for outdoor use, this is a decent shout.

Best for the garlic and cheese. It is super sharp, you need to be very careful when use it. As I meant in the video it is my second crater and I love it
