Dynamics of Particles and Rigid Bodies: A Systematic Approach

I ordered this book to go along with my Dynamics of Particles and rigid bodies class. Rao is a professor at my school although he doesn't teach my section of the class. He provides very useful examples and the book talks you through the problems. I highly recommend this book if you are struggling in the class as it helps with understanding better than most professors can explain. Update: I highly recommend going to the authors website and watching his posted lecture videos to go along with the material.

Book is good, and was delivered on time for my course. Very advanced material, but explained really well, easy to follow. Item as described.

I struggled for weeks with rotating frames within rotating frames within rotating frames using other textbooks, but Rao clarified my confusion in a matter of hours.

I'm an ME student and this book is good reference book if your studying particle dynamics or orbital mechanics. I wouldn't rely on this book to gain understanding for this topic.

Excellent book for EGM 3401 at the university of Florida. Rao is a great teacher, and he wrote his book very well.
