Expensive
Although this is a quality fan, I would not purchase this it if I was looking to buy a 92mm fan. It was purchased to add a secondary fan to the Noctua NH-U9S CPU air cooler in a push pull arrangement.

Its SO quiet.
When the fan went out on my 12 year old PC, I looked at replacing the fan with stock, but this one had next day shipping. I am SO VERY glad I ordered this one. I used to have a jet engine next to me anytime I was running more than a few programs at one time. Now, my computer hardly makes any noise. I can feel the amount of heat its pumping out the back side, but the fan itself is so quiet. Would highly recommend this fan.

Excellent fans!
Added 2 of these Noctua NF-A9 92mm CHROMAX. BLACK. Swap fans to my Thermalright Silver Soul 110 Black. Now my Lenovo P520 Workstation is running super cool. Best 92mm fans on the market. Thanks Noctua! 👍

UGreen NAS replacement fans
Used for perfect fit replacement in my Ugreen NAS! Definitely quieter and cooler than the stock OEM fans.

9900x CPU was running hot
My CPU was running too hot, so I got another fan to add to my cooler. Sticking it on was a breeze. The cooler was a Noctua, and already had the extra clips needed. This solved my problem of hot CPU.

Yo dog I herd you like quiet? So I got you effective cooling too!
OK so more serious I upgraded form a 3600 to a 3900X and figured i could use a bit more cooling since the 3900X are known to run hot.Well with my unique system there is a need for unique cooling solutions ,and I like em quiet.PROS:This fan is actually somehow quieter than the Original Brown fan 14mm thickness, ,but it is 25mm thicc.Mounts right up without having to take cooler off, And the box is super nice like all noctua products. It provides better cooling by 2-4 degrees, I run at 50 at idle and 60 while flat out the 3600 ran at about 10 degrees cooler. My system is built for minimal noise and minimal fans. Everything is Perfectly silent. If you need a quite 92mm fan go ahead and buy this.I also like Be Quiet! Silent Wings or Dark Wings for case fans but Noctua is the way for Small and effective. and the L9 is the perfect cooler if you are tight on space and this fan gets you the looks you want.ok here is the CONSIts thicker than the original fan , but this is only a negative if you cant spare the extra 11mmand it s so quiet that you cant tell if its even running. im not sure if its legal to be this quiet.and final thoughts every Noctua product i have tried so far has well beaten my expectation and i will recommend them to anyone with any need, especially if you needs are good cooling and shhhhhhhhh.

Good fan, but could be stronger
As expected from Noctua, this fan seems very well built. It runs smoothly with very minimal vibrations and is extremely quiet even at full speed. It was clearly designed more for silence than performance though since it doesn't move a huge amount of air even when running at full speed in open air. I'd say it has about average performance for a 92MM fan with much lower than average noise. It would be nice if this fan had a bit higher maximum RPM in case more cooling is ever needed since it could always be turned down if it's too loud but can't go higher than 100%, but since most people buying Noctua fans are probably mostly doing it for the silence and wouldn't normally be running it at full speed anyways, this wouldn't be a drawback to most of their customers.

High-quality 92mm PWM fan, a little loud on max rpm
High-quality build, very quiet on low-mid rpm.Using for rear-intake on Ncase M2, giving sufficient airflow. It gets pretty loud as it gets to high-max rpm.I used Noctua NA-FD1 as a space between the case and the fan which I think it helped to reduce a bit of fan noise.
