Remote is simple to use; brought a second hand Toshiba with no remote. I ordered this just before midnight last night and received it this afternoon. Put batteries in and it worked straight away. Not all of the functions work, ie subtitles or the ‘exit’ button from when on the programme guide. But it was definitely worth the money!

Bought this my fault member who has disability. He was unable to program the sharp tv to the remote. Unfortunately I have only realised this today, and have tried everything from all the codes given in the instructions, to looking online for more codes. Tried the Sharp key, resetting to default and trying again. Nothing works can't return as passed the deadline. TitleyTotally unsuitable and rubbish

My Toshiba televisions are nearly fifteen years old and their remote controls sticky with over-use. This device promised a very cheap solution to having to get up to switch off or change the channel every time. It works but only partly. It's not possible to access the channel list or change from TV to DVD mode. On the other hand it was easy to set up and - at the price - who can complain?
