Can you mount the flashlight to the camera?

No. I have to Velcro the IR to my tripod or hold it. They should come up with a mounting option for the IR illuminator.

Does this have its own IR light, or do you have to buy one yourself?

It IS a night vision camera..... one can ADD an IR light to extend it but I find it works just fine without it.

Can this live feed onto a screen on a boat?

Yes you can. I have used it as a feed to my ipad a couple of times. It works pretty well. There is some latency that I have noticed, but you can do it.

Does it have zoom capability? How far can it zoom?

Can not zoom, only electronic magnification 3 times.

Not at all appropriate

I received a reply from Sionyx:Be aware that the maximum video recording length on the cameras is constrained to around 30 minutes (due to European regulations designed to inhibit copyright violation).Best Regards,Chris SmithSIONYX Customer ServiceTo which I replied: Thank you for your reply, in particular for the information about the government attempting to control our lives with the rediculious regulation limiting the maximum video recording length on any equipment regardless of the fictions and fascist basis!
