My 6 year old loves this set! Lots of stuff to look at: the mini flashlight was a huge hit. Unfortunately it’s not very well made and it keeps falling apart. I can reassemble it but it’s comes apart frequently now. Overall a good value ...

Gave this to our six year old son for a Channuka gift. He absolutely loves it. Some of the pieces are more durable than others. I can see a few things breaking before too long but he has had a blast with it. He carries the whistle and binoculars around his neck all day and keeps the sling shot ( awesome addition) and compass in his pockets all day. Overall a great purchase

Great gift for kids! I got one for each of my kids (5 year old boy and 8 year old girl). They love them! Not super great tools but they are fun and entertains them for hours looking at things outside and inside. Highly recommend!

Love the concepts and many of the items!The clamps with the sphere broke nearly immediately. Microscope does not work- at all. Binoculars are acceptable to my prechooler who doesn't really know how they are supposed to work but are definitely meant more for pretending than using with any intent to see further away. Bag does not fit everything (particularly the shovel) and ripped at the top where it closes when trying to carry it all. The small cup that collapses comes all the way apart. The magnifying items barely enlarge what is being looked at.That said.....my preschooler LOVES it. Loves the sturdy net and the tweezers most. Loves to pretend with the binoculars. The whistle drives me crazy but again, he enjoys it a ton! Loves the containers for his collections.We haven't tried the compass out because I don't have one to compare it to and haven't tried the slingshot...but he is a bit young for those items anyway.

I purchased backpacks and loaded them up with all the goodies out of these kits. I am really happy with the quality of the items for the price. The kids are going to love them!Let the adventures begin!!!

If you drop the flashlight it will break immediately and not be able to be charged anymore. Otherwise very cute and functional
