This is exactly what I needed and worked great taking the cap off of my power trim tilt motor piston.

Pins bent on the first use. Ended up ruining the holes on the cylinder cap for my tilt trim unit. Better off spending the extra money and buying the correct size tool for your specific outboard or project

The pins are adjustable in depth. I was able to get the bottom off the tilt cylinder of a bobcat easily.
