Jeana Kimball's Foxglove Cottage Milliners/Straw Needles Size 9

These are wonderful needles. Strong ,but not thick. A straw needle that you can actually thread! I love these

I bought these after they were reccomended to me as good needles and they are. I do a lot of hand sewing and like long thin needles that are easy to thread and most importantly, needles that glide easily; and these do. I've used them so far for dress hems, attaching table runner binding and basting quilt layers, these needles have done all those things very smoothly, rapidly and accuratly. I plan to buy the smaller sizes for applique work.

After buying several different brands I found these. I am a beginning needle turner and have bought a lot of diff needles that I didn't like, either to short or the eye was too small. These are great!

Nicely packaged in a clear tube. Makes storage easier. Product as described.

I had never tried straw needles before but these worked pretty well. The thickness was perfect for applique and beading. The only drawback was that they seemed a bit long but I suspect that this is because I'm used to a quilting sharp. Would buy them again.

Love these needles for hand piecing. Thin and yet very strong.
