I've never used the spin mop. So no comparison here. The assembly of the mop is easy. It comes with two mop pads. I've been using it for a month now. It's much much better than the regular mop that eventually starts to smell from continuous usage. This mop is good to be used on good tiled floors.

I cleaned the house with this just once a week. And it broke just after a few uses.The base is connected to the handle with a plastic swivel that’s low in quality I guess.ALSO, Product Color and branding was different from what’s shown in image. I let it be thinking it should be fine. Should have returned it on day 1.

Easy to clean. Use a separate microfiber for dusting and wet cleaning. Do not use the same one. Slightly hard. Works better on polished cement surfaces too.

It is very good. With a bottle attached to add floor disinfectant or phelyl. The quality of Fibre used in mop is good. Handle is very convenient to hold.

Few imp things u must know before ordering this:1. If u will order it, u won't get it of Tethys brand. I got "Scratch" brand. I searched a lot and found that Tethys flat mop was great, but checked the reviews and found that these are all posted by foreign customers, not a single Indian review was posted here. The review stars are used with great tactics to attract customers bit unfortunately neither u will get the brand shown here and nor any original help regarding it.I called the amazon before putting the order and they assured me that I will get Tethys, but this not happened. When informed them, they asked fr replace or refund. But that would not be going to sort out your need of this flat mop. If u replace, u will get the same kind of thing.2. Tethys details + warranty mentioned here won't b there for the product u will receive.3. No warranty, No price mentioned on the Scratch brand, even u won't find the price of Scratch in google.4. Most unresponsive seller. I emailed them, posted my queries before and after purchasing, but still no sort of reply.5. The product is useful, as of now good (used 3 days only). But u won't be able to judge whether u paid right amount for this product or not.6. 4 microfibre pads in total are given with it. I purchased at 999/. After that the price is increased.

Wow! This mop and bucket is amazing and so easy to use. Surpassed my expectations - best mop I ever had!I used it on my laminate and linoleum and it worked great. I was impressed at how simple it is to use and how well it works. I would definitely recommend this product!

First I will say that I was offered a promotion in exchange for a positive review. That made me question the other reviews. I decided to try the mop anyway, with the expectation that it would need to be returned. If you don't want to read to the end, I will tell you love it and will return the *other* mop I bought the same day instead. Here's my experience:It was very easy to put together, even for someone like me who didn't do more than glance at the instructions. I am just under 5'2" and I can't imagine being much taller and using the handle provided, but it was ok for me. The system arrived with one of the mop pads already attached to the mop head.The next step was to add water and cleanser appropriate for whatever type of floor you have. I used the same stuff I've used with other kinds of mops. I put a small amount of cleaner in the bottom of the clearly marked "wash" side, followed by hot water almost to the also clearly marked max level. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t fit the bucket in the kitchen sink to fill, but it was no big deal since the bucket was easy to lift in and out of the bathtub.I carried the filled bucket into the kitchen and quickly figured out how to put the mop head parallel to the mop handle and stick it in the bucket. I realized that I should have filled the water all the way to max line. If you don't, one side of the mop (the part that is on the top going in) doesn't get wet. It didn't turn out to matter much because the water spread to the whole mop head as I used it.One of the reasons I gave this a try (even though it reminded me of something like a Swiffer, which I've not had much luck with) is because I saw housekeeping at a hospital clean a patient's room with a similar mop, and I saw how the woman was able to quickly maneuver her mop through the room with excellent results. I was thrilled that this mop moved almost as easily and with great results. Really great results. I think it's cleaner and quicker than my steam mop. I think one reason this mop is more effective is the scrapers on both the Wash and Dry sides get some of the dirt off the mop before you go back to the floor.When I was done with the kitchen, I used the Dry side to wring out the mop hands free. I wondered how the dry side was going to stay dry, but when I pulled the mop out, I saw that the water was diverted to the Wash side, which was a pleasant surprise. I ended up washing both the kitchen and bathroom in the shortest turn around time I've ever done it.The last nice surprise was that there are drains for each side of the bucket. Truly the only one that keeps dirty from clean water separate. Just have to use it right stop watching the videos people doing it wrong. Silly! This is by far the best version of all the mop buckets like this. I've bought several. People y'all are using them wrong and it cracks me up!Here's the deal...1. Fill water side up all the way. Then dip your mop it. If only fill half way yep will only get half wet mop. Fill bucket to top. Dip mop to wet it.2. Dip it in the dry side once or twice. Remove excess.3.Mop your floors....4. STOP ... Do not immediately dip the dirty used mop into your clean water this is where y'all are messing up. Take that dirty mop and SLOWLY run it back in the dirty/dry side. Watch as ALLLL that nasty comes out and drains down in the dirty/dry side water. If go slowly it won't go over into the clean side.5. Ok now then you got all the nasty out of your mop. Dip it once into the clean side again slowly... Wet it go back to the dry side clean it one more time watching the nasty come off. 6. Then dip in clean water again and get to mopping. If you put dirty mop into clean water no matter what it'll get gross. Lol that's what the dry side is for. To dry your dirty mop and soaking wet mop. You release all water and dirt into dry side get it gone then go back to your clean water.If water levels start getting low you can easily flip the mop over dip it in and then flip over dip other side. It's very fast and simple process I clean houses and this is by far the best mop like these to use. It saves me from touching nasty mops or going back forth to sink rinse mop. This style doesn't get water ALLLL over the floor around the bucket either nor does the lid try to come off every time dip mop like other brands I've tried. I'll do a review video eventually. Just don't have time at moment. Serious stop buyinf the other that have holes where dirty water goes back into clean side. This one legit keeps it separate and can do a whole 2 rooms without having to add or change water and in end still have clean water. Dip that dirty mop in the dry side first... Not the wet side!!!!! Good luck. Folks... Don't do reviews unless you are for certain using the product correctly. Silliness. I'm glad I bought this one! Absolutely the best I wish all others I've wasted money on could be returned. Instead they will be trashed. 5 starts all the way around. Only thing is I wish was link to order the exact pads because cleaning homes I need far more than two.
