I have tried every product ever made to mute cymbals for quiet practice and have been disappointed. Foam pads kill the feel you want when practicing. These mute rings are fantastic. All the feel but zero sound which is what I need to not bother the neighbors. This is an inexpensive fix for what was for me, a huge problem. Try these. They work.

Exactly what I was looking for. It muted my hi-hat over 50% when hit with stick.When using hi hat with foot, on closing it is muted over 75%I highly recommend this product. It did take a couple tries to get on, but only took a minute or two. I would buy another if I needed it.
