What can I say, the fit perfectly in my Cascade 1000 pump. They last about 2 months, which would vary based on bio-load. I bought a second sponge for the bottom tray. 2 tray of SeaChem Matrix in the middle trays. Seachem Purigen and one biofloss in the top tray. Tank is crystal clear, almost like the fishing are floating in air.

Same thing as you can get at the pet store. Same price. It works very well on my aquarium. Fixing to order some more…..

Simple to put in . Simple to prepare if you want to pre-soak in bioactive environments . And for the price I couldn't say no frankly . I like it .

These floss pads do exactly as they say. When used in a properly setup filter, they leave you with clean, clear water. I personally can't get QUITE crystal clear water, but I think that's because I have two turtles, and turtles are messy, messy creatures compared to fish. I can say that every week when I clean my filter out, these have a massive amount of gross caught in them, so I can say that they are doing their jobs very well. I usually rinse them out and reuse them once or twice, but after that, they start to wear out, and get matted down, which I believe reduces their effectiveness. They're cheap enough in bulk that I don't worry about the cost.

They do a great job of filtering out fine material.
