Fits my aluminum siding profile better than my vinyl siding profile.
Seems built pretty good. Seems like you can knock out a circle or rectangle to accommodate a junction box (not sure though).I have 2 different types of siding, a newer vinyl siding on the side walls and an older aluminum siding on the back, this definitely fits the profile of the older aluminum siding. The newer vinyl siding has a straight run then a steep slope vs the aluminum siding which slopes pretty consistently. I have attached photos, the ones that look like a tighter fit is the aluminum siding.

Perfect over vinyl siding
My son-in-law introduced us to these. Clever way to make new outside lighting hang straight and proper. And you can paint to match or contrast with siding! So glad to find!

Misleading Description

"Snap-on" is Total Misnomer-Drilling Still Necessary
There are zero installation guidelines anywhere on the internet about this type of vinyl siding mount product and after wasting an hour and a half trying to find it I'm now entirely sure that this snap-on trim ring language is complete b.s. The improvement of this product is that you don't cut a massive fixture-sized hole into siding but you're still drilling holes to screw your fixtures in if they're not already there. Ultimately I'd rather use this than not but I'm frankly pissed off by the intentionally misleading language.

White seems a bit off white compared to the light mounted and existing trim

Fit my siding perfectly.
I'm using these to mount security cameras and the only required modification was take out the center knockout. That's it. They fit the siding perfectly (others do not).
