ReTrak ETPRAUX Premier Retractable 6-Feet Auxiliary Cable

Most auxiliary cables are the same, but storing them is often annoying, especially in a vehicle. A friend recommended this retractable one and I've been in love ever since. It's a nice, long cable, but when retracted it takes up just a little more space than a Bic lighter. You also never have to worry about it getting tangled up. We'll see how long it holds up, but for the moment, it's a definite 5-star item.

This product is absolutely awful. While technically the cord may do its job, the retraction piece in the middle is a complete joke. One end of the cord would not pull out unless I pulled the other end at the same time and the same exact distance. Then, it was a nightmare to get them to retract and only if it was both ends at the same time and length. Even with being careful it was a tangled mess after the second time I tried to use it. I would say not to waste your money on this and just spend a little extra to get something nicer.

I love this retractable cord, I have bought many before, as a matter of fact I still had two working aux cords when I bought this one. I love pink, and the other cords I have are also retractable, but they were white. I wanted one that would satisfy my favorite color as well as be retractable. I wanted one that would retract so that I didn't have a long cord just hanging. This cord is really long, which for me is a good and bad thing. Good thing is because it reaches, and for some reason my aux plug was placed on the passenger side of my car, so I can have it plugged up and not worry about accidently pulling it out of the plug trying to make it long enough. Bad thing is because it is so long, it can get kind of hard to retract, because in order to retract it you have to almost pull it to its length. I think the only way to make this better is by having a push button on it to retract it. I would recommend this product to anyone, and it comes in many other colors, so you could end up with your favorite color as well.

I liked the total length. I didn't like that you had to completely unwind in order to wind it back up. I didn't like that it didn't completely wind up after the first time. One side is still longer than the other. Sound wise and works great though.

This retractable cord does its job, but I worry about quality over time. I like that you can extend the cord to different lengths - there are stopping points at 18", 24", 36", 40", 48", 52", and full length (close to 60"). It closes from any length. The cord has a weird film on it, which I assume is designed to allow the cord to rewind more easily, but it leaves a residue on my fingers at times. The sound quality is fine.

I liked the ReTrak Retractable Auxiliary Extension Cable (ETCABLE35X). I used it with my desktop and laptop computers as well as my cell phone. The only problem I had was that the side from the equipment to the middle of the cable got pulled out and could not be put back in. My granddaughter was trying to help me put it back in when she tore it up. I ordered a replacement because I did like it better than the others that were available on Amazon. The only thing is, it takes so long to receive the new one. I may order a second one as a back-up. I will have to think about that. If the second one tears up, I think I will look at a different brand though.DO BE CAREFUL ABOUT PULLING THE CABLE TOO FAR OUT! IT DOESN'T ALWAY GO BACK IN EASILY!

Would highly recommend the product to anyone that needs Auxiliary cable to play iPod, or any other mp4 player to your car. The product is very durable and retractable cable is great...no more hanging cables everywhere.

Got one of these, was very happy to have an extra long retractable cable. But when I tried to use it the only way to get audio to come through cleanly was to hold it half into the jack on any device and get the contacts at just the right angle. Otherwise the position the jack sits in when you have it snapped into a port lets through maybe half the sounds, usually cutting out vocals. Pretty much junk. Tried to get a replacement, but Amazon lost that, so maybe I just got a lemon, but personally, wasn't impressed.

I wish I had one earlier. My daughter told me that with this cable I could play Sirius on my phone with my bose player to get the better sound. Really enjoying the music.

I bought it and after about week or 3 uses, one side began fraying right at the connection point. Totally not worth buying.
