Nice bike.
This bike was simple enough to put together.I would suggest laying the bike on its back and having a 2nd person help you assembly it though. The instructions are kind of hard to understand.I only found one small scratch on the front of the steering wheel upon delivery. And I had one issue with a loose screw under the seat that fell off. I had to find a replacement at my local home depot. (Metric screw)They don't supply tools with this bike. You will need a few tools of your own. Screw driver, Allen wrench, a thin Cresent wrench. This bike is awesome. It's very smooth. Comfortable ride. It does take a while to get use to the type of brakes they have. ( it's easiest to stand up and brake. Pushing back on the pedal to stop is difficult. It definitely takes some practice. If not, you'll crash). All in all it's a great bike. Well worth the money.I put lights all around mine.

Kulana Lakona Shore Adult Beach Cruiser Bike, 26-Inch Wheels, Single Speed, Orange/Black (R7350AZ)
The advertised product description covers a range of wheel sizes, brake and gearing options. This review is for the 26" single speed coaster brake Lakona Shore Cruiser model. The measured frame height is 31", bike is sized for 64-74" rider height. The bike weighs 37 pounds assembled, tires are 26"-2.125". There's a 60 page safety/assembly/maintenance and adjustment booklet in the carton. All fastners are metric, a set of metric allen wrenches, 6 point metric sockets and thin profile metric open-end wrenchs will dramatically ease assembly. Pliers, adjustable wrench and screwdriver assembly may be possible but you will be frustrated with the extra time required and damage you will cause, and you will still need a metric allen wrench to install and adjust the handle bars. Some complained that fasteners on components were too tight presenting difficulty in loosening, assembling and re-adjusting. Not so IF you use the correct tools. Wheel & crank bearings, steering tube bearings and chain tension were all correct and do not need adjustment during assembly. Wheel runout and roundness are acceptable for an inexpensive bike like this one. The seat is a little tricky to get right and needs to be tight, again the correct metric 6-point socket wrench makes this task easier. Pedals install best with thin profile metric open-end wrench. As for sturdiness, it's a heavy old school bike like I rode to country school in the 1950's. Good for a few miles a day at the beach. Can't predict how it will hold up, the plastic seat appears to me to be a potential weak link in the system. I feel it was a good value for the $ based on what I was looking for in a beach bike.Bike was very well packaged, some hard plastic, cardboard and paper packing materials and the carton are recycable, some foam cushioning is not, at least not here in NY State. There are numerous zip ties involved and a small wire cutter/side cutter speeds the unpacking and saves the finish on the bike.I opted for free shipping and was pleasantly surprised when the bike arrived one day earlier than the date specified with Prime shipping.

DO NOT PURCHASE
I purchased this bike in December of 2020 as a present for my son in May 2021 When we opened up the bike and started to assemble the handle bars we found that the bolt to tighten the bar was striped and we could not loosen the bars to set them straight forward. we finally got a tool to remove the bolt we got the handle bars straight. Then my son went to ride the bike and his front rim was warped and he was not able to steer. Upon inspection we looked at the back rim and it too was warped and rubbing against the brakes and bars. Unbelievable to purchase this bike with so many defections. My son was very upset and we were apst are return date because it was a present that was past the return date. My advise buy local because it is too much of a chance to purchase blindly on a item like this. $200 purchase and 120 for new rims.

Good bike, solid and reliable
I bought this bike for my 13 year old daughter. She previously had a walmart brand mountain bike, so she appreciated the colors and styling of this bike. She likes the beach cruiser look and the upright riding position, but wanted gears. This bike gave her both. I will say that it's heavy as heck... 55lbs. It did ok on a bike rack on the back of my vehicle. A little difficult to get it in place as those are best suited to triangle frame bikes, but we got it on there eventually and it survived a trip to and from the Outer Banks ok, just a few dings on the metal that covers the chain. I'm happy with this purchase. I see the price has since gone up and now I think it's way too expensive, but at $250 it was a good buy.

Breaks easily,
Tire rim cam bent, the handle bars constantly come loose, and the seat keeps swiveling. But it still gets me from point A to B

excellent low-end bike
Bought this bike to ride w/my 6yr old son during COVID. Excellent value for the price.Shipping - it arrived a week early. Couldn't find anything at Wal-Mart for weeks. Finally bought online.Assembly - if you are slightly handy - it took 15-20 minutes to put together. Handle bar, seat, fender (3 screws), pedals, tire. Easy.Brakes - i bought the orange/black color - no handbrakes. Some of the photos of the bike show handbrakes. Mine did not have. Just push pedal backward to brake.Single speed - i live in an extremely flat area so a single speed works well. if you live in a hilly area - you might want to look at something else.Overall - very satisfied with this bike - well-made (previously in manufacturing w/welding background) for the price. i use it to go out w/my son on flat trails to just have simple ride. Works very well for that purpose.
