(Fyi my skin type is combination - get oily in pores, esp nose and a bit on chin and in between brows but suface of the skin is also dry lacking in hydration esp forehead and chin area)The night cream is okay for moisurising, compared to other hydrating types of products it isn't as good but is decent/okay as a moisuriser. It does have a lovely smell and texture. It has a pleasant gentle lavender smell, not chemical or overpowering, perfect for a simple relaxing/pampering bedtime routine. The texture feels silky and cool to the touch, like between a gel and cream, which means it feels aqueous yet rich. Altough there are other products that are better at hydrating such as products containing snail mucin, the formula has a texture that feels on the hand like it would be hydrating. It is not a bad product and for someone with skin that doesn't need a lot of heavy duty hydration, such as a young teen, this would be good. I used any excess on my hands from applying it to my face to moisurise my hands, and if it was a hand cream it would be outstanding. Even if the results are not outstanding for a night cream, it is very pleasant to use so I think anyone would like it, and the experience of applying it is a joy in itself so if you're looking for a moisuriser and don't need much hydration, and just want it to be enjoyable, this night cream would be perfect for that.The downside of this product is the day cream which is half of the product, and is very greasy. Even though the texture and smell is nice (not as nice as the night cream but no complaints about the scent, it's mild and not overpowering/chemical smelling), I don't find they day cream formula does much of anything beneficial for my skin as it is not hydrating like the night cream, and is quite oily, and just sits on top of my skin making it look oily / greasy. It doesn't provide the average level of hydration from even an average cheap moisturiser. I would avoid using it unless I have nothing to use even though the texture and smell in the pot is nice. If I was going to apply it, I would avoid doing it in the day time if you're socialising or going out of the house because it makes your face look very oily / greasy. If I were to want to apply it, the best time would probably be at night before sleeping so it has a lot of time to absorb overnight and for me, only if I've just washed my face and am worried about it becoming dry if I have no other moisturiser or any essence to use instead (I usually use a cheap £2.50 light moisturiser from Simple instead of this - still have the day cream part of this product left in the pot as I didn't find it to be an adequate moisturiser for me personally.)If anything, I would think the night cream works better for a day cream than the day cream part does, as although once you initially apply the night cream you can see the sheen on the skin from it waiting to be absorbed, once it absorbs it is somewhat hydrating and it doesn't look noticable on the skin so you can go out in the daytime a little bit after applying as long as you've allowed a few minutes for it to absorb.Due to 50% of the product not being good enough for a moisturiser for me, I'm giving this 2 stars. If the whole pot was of the night cream, I would give it 3 stars as although it's not the best moisturiser I've used, it is a joy to use and the texture and smell is lovely.

honestly!this is the besttt cream ive ever used for my face

After just a week of using this product, my scars from acne have noticeably faded. The cream is extremely hydrating and the best cream I’ve used. You don’t know what you are missing until you try this. It keeps face hydrated all day. The amount given lasts a long time, a little goes a long way. The day cream is a wonderful thick consistency but absorbs into the skin right away. The night cream is very cooling but relaxes you before bed.I have extremely sensitive skin and A LOT of allergies. I’m allergic to almost everything in normal skin care. I’ve been having better luck with Korean skin care. This cream definitely does not break me out and I’m not allergic to it!The packaging is well thought out and so aesthetic. Love this product and will be purchasing for years to come.

Works really well, I like the sent cream is very smooth and thin easy to use and doesn't feel thick when applying on skin.

I got this product because I love Joan and was soooo excited that she was coming out with a moisturizer! Got it a little late though because I needed to save up some money first, but it was definitely worth every penny! I have used so many moisturizers because my dry skin and when I say this is a great product, it really is! The day cream gives me just enough moisture during the day and it doesn’t leave me feeling greasy which is nice. The night cream is especially moisturizing and kind of just glides on. It’s not a greasy feeling, but you can feel the product on your face. However, it soaks into the skin and leaves you glowing!! You can really smell the lavender but it isn’t too overbearing.Overall, both day and night cream works great for dry skin!! It’s now part of my daily routine and I hope this will be in the market for a long time. 😊❤️

im in my young adult age, very healthy skin dont have any skin problems ever but i started to have breakouts around my chin after one night using this cream. i continued using it bc the breakouts was minimum but after a week i have my first cystic acne ever in my life. so i stop using this cream and my skin is back to normal howver the pimples are still there but nothing new pops up. i think it's the fragrance in it? not sure. but be careful folks.
