Very useful and works well
This worked incredibly well for me. I needed it for presentations in college to make my laptop compatible with the older projectors in the classrooms, and it worked like a charm.

Note: the hdmi port is a mini hdmi.

Unfortunately, it failed to work. I bought two and neither could convert hdmi to vga.
