A Family Favorite!!!
The whole family loves this hot and spicy potato chip, that has just the right crunch that you want with a crisp. While we all love them, they are my grandson's all time favorite, and he asks for them for every birthday and holiday for a treat. Too bad that we don't live in VA where they're made, and then I might be able to find them on a store shelf, and buy them locally...glad that Amazon offers this brand and flavor that I can easily order for him.

Best low salt chip
We visited the factory several years ago and the sampling session was great. We have been a fan since then.

Excellent taste that represents the DC/MD/VA area well
First: BORN and RAISED in PG County Maryland. These are EXCELLENT and smell & taste VERY much like how me, my father, & his side of the family season crabs, and we cooked MD Blue crabs every weekend in the summer when I was growing up. You have 3 types of folks folks from MD: Those that don't eat crabs or only had them a few times, those that eat bland crabs with "light" or barely any seasoning, and those that cook their crabs with FLAVOR and SOUL. This chips are for the 3rd type of Marylander that likes their food cooked with SOUL. If you like bland "low salt" chips or are too sensitive to handle a slight bit of pepper "kick", these are NOT for you. Try Utz or some other knock-off brand. These are designed for the taste buds of people born & raised close to the Chesapeake Bay and grew up on the cuisine associated with the bay. The company definitely should NOT change a thing simply because a few people want "lower salt" or feel it's too "hot". I can eat an entire bag of these with no water: They aren't hardly "too hot" to eat for a true native Marylander. Not at all - not even close. I don't want them altering their recipe to "sell out" to the taste preferences of people who aren't even from this region. That would be less than Authentic. This is the true TASTE of the Chesapeake Bay region - take it or leave, but don't try to "change" it

Best chips we’ve ever eaten
We happened to buy a bag of these at a convenience store in Virginia while traveling back to PA from the OBX. They are absolutely the best potato chips we’ve ever eaten and we’re old folks! After a Google search we were dismayed to learn that we could not purchase them locally but found that through Amazon Prime we could buy a 12 pack carton of 6 oz bags for a reasonable price. They arrived promptly in excellent shape and we have happily been munching our way through them!

Interesting
First off, it’s such a powerful smell. Like slap you in the face smell. Then the taste is just not there. It’s really weird and doesn’t taste like pickles. I wouldn’t recommend.
