Good quality, nonslip surface. Soft but not squishy. I have mine directly on cement in a basement. It does not move when used for vigorous exercise or weight lifting. Works when placed on carpet as well, it lays a little bumpy, but does not move much during exercises.

This workout mat is perfect for what I ordered, which was primarily not to slip and slide while workout out.-a non-slip top surface so my sneakers wouldn't slide all over the place (while doing burpees, lunges, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, plyo exercises, etc)-a non-slip bottom surface so the mat wouldn't slide all over the floor while doing cardio, HIIT, etc.-It isn't very padded, but cushy enough to absorb jumping, lunging, running in place, etc even when it is on top of a tiled floor. It's not thin, either. Good quality but probably not too shock absorbing. That's what quality footwear is for ;)-Great size for in home workouts-Portable, easy to clean, easy to roll and unroll-Overall...worth every penny to be able to exercise without moving around and tweaking something!

We bought this mat for my wife's home fitness studio to train clients, given the shift to remote working. It has a premium look and feel, suitable for cardio, bodyweight exercise, modest weight training, and stretching. Responsive surface, excellent traction, and grip for agility exercise. It appears wear and tear resistance after having used it for several months at home with multiple clients. Cleans up easily as well. Would definitely recommend and buy again, should we expand work area. Great premium product.

I've been working out in my basement, which has plank vinyl flooring directly over concrete. After a few months of different high intensity workouts, my heels started to really hurt and I realized I needed some cushioning. So I purchased this mat. I've found it has helped my heel pain significantly, and it is great to be doing jumping jacks on something a little more cushioned. However, it was extremely slippery at first. Like, holding a downward dog position resulted in both hands and feet slipping in opposite directions. I cleaned it with a household cleaning spray, and after using it a few times I realize the slipperiness got much better. Most exercises when I am on my feet are just fine - squats, lunges, jumping jacks, etc. It is definitely slippery when wet, so that can be a problem if your hands or arms are wet when you're trying to hold a plank. But I personally handle this by using a yoga mat on top for any floor work, and the yoga mat never moves. It's a good compromise for me. I also do think if you're planning to use it for yoga over a hard floor, a yoga mat on top is recommended for extra cushioning. This mat is thick enough for a little extra cushioning but it's probably not soft enough for knees or elbows.

This mat was exactly what I was looking for. I don’t have a garage, or a basement, or any space that I can have a permanent workout setup. I needed a mat that was big enough to actually work out on (first I tried a yoga mat, then two yoga mats next to each other, which just didn’t work) but that I could easily set up & put away. It’s light enough for me to flip over & roll up but it also protects my floors from me jumping around & sweating. It’s got just enough give that I don’t really need something extra under my elbows for planks (if I do I use an old yoga mat for extra cushion). It was definitely worth the price and so far there hasn’t been any sign of peeling or wear, even though my pets like to get on it & wrestle while I’m trying to use it.

Been using it for a few months now. It’s grippy to workout in bare feet, easy to clean, and absorbs impact enough.

I have a small place in my living room that i work out in and was looking for something that would help with absorbing some of the impact to my floor (and my knees!). This worked out perfect as it is durable, portable and easy to put away when not in use. Just roll it up and tie it down with the included clip straps and you’re done.In comparison to some of the tile product I’ve used in the past, this was a bit thinner but still does the job. It did not have that strong chemical odor either, which is a plus!I have not experienced any slippage as others have noted.Overall, i am satisfied with the product that was delivered (undamaged!)

This large exercise mat is exactly what I needed for my workout room. It provides the perfect amount of cushion and grip for all types of exercises while not being too soft or flimsy. The value for money for this mat based on my searches exceeds all competitors. The number of sizes available are perfect for building out a complete workout room without any renovations. This has the surface of a stickier yoga mat but without the softness of typical mats of that type. Highly recommended!
