Great product. We work in a dental lab & constantly need to wash our hands, mixing bowls etc. Applying this product several times a day, helps prevent painful cracks in our fingers. Especially when used while wearing rubber gloves. Not greasy either. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has to put their hands in water every day.

Works well, feels good, the women in my life called it stinky and wouldn't use it. Works though, if you can get past the smell, I have no hesitations recommending it.

Stays on, but stinks

after this is rubbed into one's hands, there is a grainy residue left under the nails and all around the cuticle that has to be rinsed / rubbed off. Seems soothing, but I can't use it, because it's really not a good look to have that white stuff all around every nail!

I was about to buy this product based on a recommendation by a pastel artist who uses it to protect her hands. However, when I read the ingredients I was alarmed to see it contains parabens (proven to disrupt hormone activity, which can lead to breast cancer and reproductive disorders) and sodium lauryl sulfate (can cause irritation of the skin and eyes, Organ toxicity, Developmental/reproductive toxicity, Neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, ecotoxicology, Possible mutations and cancer).I can't buy this despite the "great results" people get, with ingredients considered to be harmful to the human body. Buyer beware . . . .

Works beautifully. I paint with pastels and this keeps even the darkest colours from soaking into my skin.

I have suffered from severe contact dermatitis due to powder coatings at work for years, always having to get prescriptions for steroid creams to ease the inflammation. I have tried just about every barrier cream out there, some better than others but nothing really helped. I was talking to my local pharmacy when picking up my steroid cream a few months ago and she recommended Kerodex 51. Finding it on Amazon pretty cheap I decided to give it a shot. I used my steroid cream for 3 days to clear my hands then started using the Kerodex at work with no gloves. I haven't had a breakout in 3 months and haven't had to touch another steroid cream. Highly highly recommended! Wish I would have discovered years ago.

My hands would sting and get irritated handling fiberglass cloth making layups. The Kerodex 51 eliminated this issue so I can work without clunky gloves. Work it in well and not too thick, and it becomes dry, invisible barrier. Good for working with my hands in oil too, I used it at work drenching my hands and arms in oil all day. Highly recommended.
