It fit my 3-year-old grandson quite well. It works perfectly for Renaissance Faires and is somewhat close to the helmet worn in those times. My grandson loves it, as it worked with his Knights Templar costume, and he wore it to the Renaissance Fair.

This helmet is so good. It looks very real and is comfortable without wobbling on my son's head. You do not need to make modifications unless you want it as a preference. The helmet fit perfectly and stayed put without slipping up or down even when running. The one suggestion I would make to parents is to add a dab of hot glue to each side of the helmet where you want the visor to stop. It does allow it to move too far down for my son. My son would move it all the way down and cause him to look slightly tilted up when trying to look through it. He just needed to stop where it was perfect for him. Adding a dab of hot glue to each side where you want the visor to stop will allow the kids to slide it closed without having to adjust it. It does stay put where you slide it which is very nice even in a battle. Really brought my son's costume together. Fits perfect for my 9 year old, seems well made. It's durable yet soft enough to be comfortable. Vision is limited but that's the nature of this style helmet, the hinge feature works great and stays up when you want it to. Very happy with this purchase!

This was purchased for an adult costume since it says it can be used for adults. Fit very snug though. Opens and closes well

My 8 year old was a knight for Halloween. This helmet fit him well. The only complaint was that the screws that hold it together kept getting stuck in his hair. So we had to cover them with felt.

Excellent helmet, much higher quality than average Halloween costumes and props. Thick, sturdy plastic, but still light enough to be comfortable for a child. Opens easily. Looks much more realistic than comparable items we've seen, and the finish shows no signs of being prone to chipping in spite of receiving rather rough treatment since it arrived. This helmet is slightly large for my 7 year old son's head, but not so big that he can't see out of the eye holes - just a little wobbly on his head. I'm actually considering using some of those size-adjusting pads left over from his bike helmet, ha ha. Overall, I highly recommend this as the perfect accessory for all knight costumes! You won't be disappointed.

My grandson has always been a very good at imagination play. I bought him a knight costume for his birthday and then also bought this helmet. I have purchased several helmets over the last few years and this one is really well made. Sturdy for an 8 year old! It looks so real and fits very well. I am very happy with my purchase and my grandson thinks it is the year 1539!!!!

My son loved/loves the helmet. We wanted to be a knight for halloween, we made his costume but couldn't make the helmet. We spray painted the helmet and the visor and everything continued to work just fine. He was able to see enough out of it to wear it while trick or treating and lifted the visor if he got too hot (we're in Texas). The plastic was actually more durable than I thought it was going to be, it was a little misshapen when we received it from the box but we were able to mold it back with a hairdryer.

Fab helmet, my son is looking forward to wearing in for World Book Day. He’s tried it on and it’s comfortable, it fits myself as well which is great for the future if I need a helmet like this… 🙂. Fab quality and looks great too. Great price, best one I found.
