My neighbours cat frequently fouls (poos!) on our lawn so i looked for a repellent that might deter the beast. I spread the granules on and around the areas that had been previously fouled. The instructions ask you to ensure 'that the area you are treating is as clean as possible from any signs of fouling....... Now this is a tough requirement as whilst I had removed the offending poo other than jet washing my lawn removal was the best I could do. They ask you to scatter the granules evenly at a rate of 3g/metre. For heavens sake I just scattered the product reasonably evenly without using my atomic scales to measure 3g leaving a pleasant citrus aroma that I hoped it would do what its said on the 'tin'! Sadly it completely failed to deter said cat who two days later promptly deposited fresh loads in the same area as the granules were spread. Its as if the granules attract the cat!! Karlsten Cat Repellent is basically useless and at £20 per 650g is a purchasing folly I wont be repeating!!

I applied these granules to the area in which the cats thought they would use as their toilet in my garden and for the first couple of days there was nothing , I thought great this is working . After another application and another couple of days sadly they are back to leaving their mark in my garden, very expensive product not to work. Wouldn't recommend.

Works well but have to keep reapplying

Had this product a few days, trying to keep cats away from lingering in our garden. I've followed the instructions precisely but the product just doesn't work for me. The thing that summed it up is when I put a big heap of granules in one particular problem spot, and a cat literally slept on top of the pile for about 4 hours!!

I like the smell, my garden hedgehog 🦔 and my dog 🐕 are ok with it too but the cats 🐈 hate it. It’s not cheap but excellent value if it keeps smelling through the rain. I’m waiting to see. I recommend it.
