This was an amazing kit to buy for our 4-year-old. She loved investigating and putting up the evidence markers. The sunglasses that allow you to see behind you were crazy fun. Our daughter already has a great imagination, so using this kit just made it so much better. Definitely a fun purchase! Highly recommend!

I put this kit on my sons' wishlist for Christmas and I was ecstatic when they (meaning I) actually got one. Of course I dove right into it and sat my sons down to experiment with finger prints. I've had plenty of experience as a forensic person when I ran a detective agency when I was 10. So I thought I was going to really impress the boys with my skills. Well, it didn't go so well with the brush that came with it, as I of course already suspected at first glance. The brush isn't soft enough and will damage the print. I'd replace it with a fiberglass brush.

I was VERY pleased with this kit for my 5 year old female neighbor who has a million interests and one just starting in the detective area. I always buy her a dress of her liking, but feel that kids should get a toy as well! So when I saw this, I was a little hesitant, but thought it looked like something she would enjoy. Her mom sent me the photos of her decked out in the 'overcoat, hat and magnifying glasses' and I was so glad I took the chance. One never knows what will spark a future career for busy little minds. I would definitely recommend for others with similar interests.......as long as you don't mind being finger printed!

This was a fun little kit for my 8 year old son. It was educational as he learned quite a bit as he was going through it. It was pretty easy for him to do himself, but he did have to be careful with it and there are some pieces that can make a bit of a mess. This was cute and safe for him to do independently.

Coat falling apart, one lens of spy glasses put together backwards, the finger print board is all scratched up and light bulb for talc leaks. But my child likes it a lot.

My 5 ur old grandson loves this.

Defintely overpriced but if you have a "detective" that likes to play and dust finger prints on surfaces.. this is a decent product. The costume was nice too

We bought this kit for our 5 year old grandson. He is very into being a spy at the moment and he absolutely loved the jacket, hat, glasses and the pen. Highly recommend this kit for kids who like detectives.

I am happy with the gift but the glasses were broken. This is a bit disappointing because once you hand the gift to the kids it's hard to take it back in order to replace it. Please ensure the quality is improved for future purchases.
