good for kids
I could have made my own, but this was convenient to buy and have. The font is good and cards are sturdy. My 3 year old loves them and would randomly take them out of the closet to read. Very happy with purchase, well worth it.

These are great!
These are great! There are tons on them! I love how they are color coded and organized by little dividers. I like how the word that you are showing is displayed in the corner of the side facing you. It helps you to go way faster. My only complaint is that it was packaged poorly. It was just in a big amazon shipping envelope. The box was crunches and the little tabs on the dividers were bent. That was a bummer, but I didn’t have time to mess with returning them. So we just jumped right in! I still have 5 stars because the cards really are awesome!

Great quality, daughter loves them!
My daughter was so excited that these came in a box with so many cards that were all front and back. She said "I have a big box, so I can read like a big girl!"The packaging was motivating to her, I guess haha. I do love that the box is organized for me unlike the type I used on my order son. I wish I had these when he was little. My daughter is almost 3 and she already knows at least a dozen of these, and it has only been a week! She of course spilled juice on them the first day, and it wiped right off with a wipe. Great quality.

Great set of early reading vocabulary words to memorize and recognize
I purchased these for my 4 year old and they are outstanding! Very sturdy and there are tons of early reading words for him to learn. He has been really excited to find "his" sight words on our bedtime stories now that he's started to master the first two levels of cards. Overall, great value for the money and very helpful with early reading skill development if flash cards are the style of learning that works for your little one.

Good but misleading review
They look nice, feel nice, and have a whole bunch of words kids should know. That said, one of the tips said to read the sentence in the back to really internalize the word and there weren't any sentences for the cards. A mistake? Card meant for a different box? I don't know, but it's a bummer there aren't any sentences the child can read.

Great educational tool
We had been using handmade sight words cards for our 6 year old before I purchased these. The construction is much more durable and with the progressively more difficult sets of words (5 sets), it is easy to measure progress. The storage box also makes it easy to keep track of them instead of a deck of handmade cards held together by rubber band.

Great for classroom
I use this set for so many things. It’s so handy to have them labeled, two-sided and easily accessed instead of just on paper. I use it so much, I keep it on my desk.

With this, my child can read at 5 yrs old.
Definitely a must have for every pre-k child! We started practicing reading Level 1 and 2 when my daughter was 5 and now she’s 6, she can read all sight words up to level 4! The words are easy to read, not too small nor big. You get levels from 1-5 which is great so you can gradually teach them base on difficulty. My child loves it and you won’t regret buying one!
