Good quality
I love the luxurious feel this product has without breaking the bank. It was easy to install as well. I got it for all my bathrooms

Pump not designed well - very weak and will eventually stop working
I have purchased 2 of these hoping that I got a fluke. After replacing and running into the same issue, I came back here to hopefully see a newer version, but all I am reading are poor reviews. I will join the other reviews in saying that while the product is beautiful and a fraction of the price of the name brands, the pump action on this is very poorly designed. Our first soap dispenser purchase stopped working - like others said, would not pump soap out anymore. The second one eventually had the same issue. We now have an ornament on our counter. Disappointed in Kingston - there other fixtures are top quality. This one needs some engineering help and a redesign. I disassembled the pump and the spring appears to be undersized (at least compared to a teardown Iof a Delta soap dispenser I watched on YT). Aside from the spring, I think the pump was pulling in air so there was insufficient vaccuum. The air crystallized the remnant soap that was in the pump so it hardened. One issue exasperated the other issue. As a side note - it took FOREVER to prime the soap when we first installed it. Should have realized that was going to be an issue.

Attractive and useful soap dispenser, but...
So what is so dangerous about this product that you can't buy it in California? Oh, I forgot, it is California. This is a very nice and well priced soap dispenser that is priced well below other comparable soap dispensers and it seems to dispense just the correct amount of soap each time. Easy to install and it matches our far more expense Newport brass Polished Nickel faucet set perfectly.

looks good
I bought this because the old identical one wasn't delivering the right amount of soap - underwhelming you might say. The new one is the same.

Poor soap dispenser
It’s beautiful on my sink and matches my faucet. It’s difficult to find polished brass. However I can’t take it anymore as much as I tried. When you try to pump out the soap you literally only get a drop. It just doesn’t work.

My issue is esthetic
I did not have the length ( counter top thickness) issue others had, as this one came with a threaded shaft of about 3 inches long. It was plenty long. Mine did not leak and the hole for dispensing was good. The pump worked as advertised. My issue is the esthetic of the base. This was meant to match the faucets I bought, but the surface mount base is cheaply made, can scratch the counter top, and is sort of ugly compared to the faucets. I remedied it by saving the surface flange from the faucet spray nozzle I was replacing. Placing that under the flange of the soap dispenser gave the beefiness that it looks better. BTW - If you have not heard this tip...throw away the bottle! Those bottles leak, are hard to fill, always run out, and when you do fill them, you inevitably overfill it and get soap all over. Someone told me this tip. Buy some tubing which fits tightly over the pump's suction tube, and get it long enough to reach the shelf in your sink cabinet. Open a half-gallon or gallon soap bottle and put the tube into it. The dispenser will pull it up, and with that much soap under the counter it usually lasts a year or so before replacing it.

Looks more expensive than it is
Nothing to dislike, installed easily, doesn’t clog, and you can refill from the top, instead of taking everything out of the cabinet to get the bottle out. I’m very happy with these.

Oh this is so beautiful! I actually bought it for my kitchen sink as the faucet is shaped exactly like this soap dispenser, lol it’s small but i will manage somehow, i just adore the way it looks like 🥹

No short neck like other reviews. This dispenser was perfect for my stone counters.

Texture and looks were great but did not pump soap. You have to pump it 10 to 15 times just to get enough sap for half a sink of dishes. Very little comes out and you have to lift it and push it lift it and push. Very expensive item for how it works. Would not purchase.

Beautiful! I purchased one for lotion and one for soap! High quality and heavy brass. I do wish more soap came out in one pump since it is slow to pop up again.
