Black n Bianco Boys Pinstripe Suit with Matching Tie Size 2-20

UPDATE: This suit is falling apart much sooner than I think it should. The crotch started coming undone first, the the lapel pocket, and now the armpit of the vest.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm glad I read a few other reviews that talked about the suit running a bit large because it prompted me to order a size 7. My son just turned 8 years old and is already wearing size 8 in most things, although some size 8 pants can be long on him. So I decided to order a size 7 and a size 8 to see which one looked best. We tried on the size 7 first. The size 7 looked fantastic! The only thing that was a bit snug was the white shirt. Then we started trying on the size 8 but the jacket was much too large that we decided to go with size 7. The size 8 jacket sleeves went all the way down to halfway down his fingers. While I know he can grow into the size 8 in about a year I want him to look and feel as if it fits NOW. He is getting baptized and I want him to remember this special time. He's really excited about the suit. He gave his siblings a model show.We are all really excited about all the pockets in this suit! There is a pocket on the inside of the jacket and the two pockets on the outside of the jacket can be opened up. There is a pocket on the white shirt. There are two pockets on the vest. And there are two pockets in both the back and front of the pants!This suit was also packaged and folded and shipped very well so that there is minimal wrinkling. That means less ironing for me. :)The only thing that would have been more perfect is if the color "yellow" tie and handkerchief (which is removable and fake) had been available with prime. Yellow is his favorite color.One thing to note is that the pants waist seemed different then I remember reading in the description. There was hidden elastic in the sides that allows for 2-inch stretch, which was cool. However I thought that there was going to be an elastic portion in the back part of the pants. This was not the case on the pants we got. It wasn't an issue for us but if your son is very slim then the pants might be way too big on the waist. As for us, we needed the stretch that the hidden stretch panels allowed for.

The suit it's self seems very well-made. I was very pleased to see that it has a normal waistline, versus the elastic waist bands that seem to be quite common in little boys dress pants. It does have the ability to adjust to waste a little bit on the sides, which is nice. There are, however, if you things to note: 1. The shirt is quite thin as mentioned in other reviews, but I also found it to have a very strange hemline. It is very straight across versus the normal rounded shape at the bottom of most dress shirts. I can't say as to how this would affect function, because we opted to put a colored shirt under the suit. 2. Despite all of the reviews stating that the suit ran big, I actually found it to be quite true to size. My son is a slim size 7, so I ordered him the six based on the reviews. The jacket fit perfectly, but the pants were a bit short.3. I think it is important to note that the pocket square is sewn in, so you cannot use a different tie with the suit unless you don't care if they don't match. 4. I found the tire to be a bit short for my tastes. That being said, I think it was very much on par with what I have found in terms of the length of boys ties. I just prefer them to be a bit longer. This was not an issue for us, as the vest and jacket hide the length of the tie completely. All in all, I was very please with the suit, and any issues I had were not completely unexpected. I would certainly buy again at this price!

I bought a size 16, as most of the reviewers seem to be ordering the smaller sizes I will give some input on the larger end. The suit fits very well and the measurements seem to match the size chart very nicely. I have a 13 year old who has outgrown everything in all the local boys departments due to his height, but thanks to body stature similar to a sign post he can't fill out most things in the men's department. Especially not a suit. It certainly doesn't look tailored, but it gets the job done and is of decent quality. We only need it for a series of speeches he will be giving over the summer, I expect it won't fit longer than that anyway as we already have to replace his entire wardrobe three or four times a year! I would have happily given this suit 5 stars, however this suit doesn't look like the pictured Dark Navy Blue. I expected a very dark navy, but this suit is very much more deep charcoal than navy. Even in natural lighting I don't see blue tones at all. The man-child was very disappointed in the color but since this is the only suit set we could find in his size without spending a ton and then alterations to boot we will be keeping it. If you're looking for a suit to match a wedding party or family photo, be aware that the blue is not blue at all.

No está tan mal. Creo que luce bien la tela para el precio. De los hombros está de acuerdo a la medida que dicen pero viene demasiado holgado, como para un niño más gordito tanto el saco como el pantalón. La corbata trae un sistema que ajusta el tamaño del cuello, lo cual me pareció muy creativo y pues bueno son 5 piezas.
