Fantastic Detail! (Make sure you are prepared ahaead of time and have extra help)
We made a cast of three generations on Mother's Day: myself, my mom, and my daughter. I can't express how very much I love it. It was also kind of a cool bonding experience holding each other's wrists inside the mold for a few minutes. :My mom's 85 years old, so it is even more special to me. She won't be around forever, but I will always remember this day and the fun/laughter we enjoyed doing this. Some helpful hints:1) Read ALL of the instructions through first. Make sure that you understand them and are prepared, because set up is fast.2) Have a person help you whose hand is NOT inside the mold. You can help with your free hand, but it's better to hold still.3) Pour just a little of the plaster into the mold first, and roll it around to coat all of the details, especally rings.4) Don't pour leftover plaster solution into any sink or toilet--just the garbage can.

I absolutely loved this. The instructions were a little overwhelming at first (there's a lot of them), but taking it step-by-step the instructions were easily understood and the product turned out amazing. We are very pleased. We were working on a project for church for a servant's heart, and these hands (my daughter's and two of her friends) were just the thing we needed to finish it perfectly. I would suggest making sure the thumb is plush with the rest of the fingers. One of the girls let her's relax, and it took forever to get all of the mold removed from the gap after it had finished.

Not as easy as it looks
Item arrived quickly. We tried the interlocking wrist design and followed the directions completely. It did not turn out at all and we ended up having to throw it away.

Family memory keepsake
This was super fun to do. Made my daughter a mold of her 4 childrens hands. Easy instructions. Only advice...don't wear big gaudy rings...makes it a bit harder to pull out hand. I painted it glossy black. Stunning. Daughter and family all loved it.

The instructions were godd...but we made the cast one day and decided to pour the stone on another day...about 3 days later when we went to pour the stone we found the robbery mold part had shrunk away from the plaster cast material. We filled in with extra casting straps and it turned out okay

Complicated!
This is not an easy process! My family and I tried twice to get this done. The first time the instructions were conflicting: instruction on the bag for the molding material read 7 cups of water but the instructions on the bag read 9 cups of water. We used 9 and it was too watery. The second time we tried it, when we poured the casting material into the mold, it began to leak immediately. I do not know what we did wrong. We cheeked and double checked the instructions each step of the way.

Wonderful product to use but must be patient and thorough
Ok So let me start off that I have wanted to do this for 2 years but had to wait until my 6 yo's could sit still more then 5 seconds. Having an extra helper, if not 2, is a must. I read the directions 6 times just because I didn't want to screw it up. The only thing we found challenge was the making of the mold. Use a hand mixer instead of spatula. You really only have a few minutes from once you start to mix to get it where it needs to be on the hands. Because ours started to turn white while pouring we didn't get a good placement of the mold by the bottom edges of our hands. However, in the end once the plaster was done setting I used all the tools provided and a Dremel of my own and spent ALOT of time cleaning it up because I'm obsessive like that. You can't even tell that the mold wasn't perfect and we are all super happy with the results. Wonder product to make lasting memories!!!!
